This leaped out at me this weekend from the Marvel Extended Forecast:
AGE OF ULTRON #7 (OF 10) features cover (reg cover only) and interior art by Brandon Peterson, not Peterson and Carlos Pacheco as previously solicited.
AGE OF ULTRON #8 (OF 10) features cover (reg cover only) and interior art by Brandon Peterson, not Peterson and Carlos Pacheco as previously solicited.
Pacheco is still seemingly attached to #6, and was announced as one of three artists (alongside Bryan Hitch and Joe Quesada) on #10 last week, so is this a circumstance where story requirements have pushed his work later in the series altoegther? Will Peterson be handling #7 and 8 solo, and then Pacheco will be handling #9 solo and sharing #10 with the other two artists? Or has the scope of Pacheco’s involvement in the series shrunk since the initial announcement of the three artists for the series?

What ever happened to the artists that Marvel announces for books actually completing more that a couple issues?

It’s completely story-based. Carlos is already working on #9 and will be contributing to #10 as well. #8, though, is entirely Brandon.

And that listing for #7 is in error–Carlos is part of issue #7, his pages are all done at this point.
