		<description>I much prefer the general idea of &quot;let&#039;s do something different&quot; to &quot;let&#039;s do another X-Men/Batman/Avengers book.&quot;  DC really has tried to hard to create diversity.  Even if the execution has been inconsistent, even if there are a lot of problems with how DC does things aside from this.  And even if, in the end, it&#039;s probably a safer route to do more Batman and X-Men and Avengers books, judging by the cancellations we just saw.

Personally, though, I am a lot more excited by the new Gail Simone book.  Her comments - she is the best reason I know to have a Tumblr account - make me think that she is going to be given a lot more room to tell her tale than DC&#039;s been giving people not named Johns, Lemire or Snyder.  Good to see that Baltazar and Franco are getting another shot.</description>
