I'm taking this weirdly hard. She's really is the architect of modern mainstream comics. Without her, there's no "Watchmen", no "Sandman", no Grant Morrison, no Neil Gaiman or Mark Millar or Garth Ennis or Chris Bachalo. Marvel Comics for the last decade was built on the back of the talent she discovered. And if you knew how many ill-conceived Vertigo-inspired fashion crazes I went through when I was in high school, your jaw would drop.

So many formative comics for me: "Death: The High Cost of Living" by Bachalo and Gaiman, "Shade the Changing Man" by Bachalo and Milligan, "Enigma" and "Face" and "Girl" by Fegredo and Milligan, "Kill Your Boyfriend" by Bond and Morrison, "Ghostdancing" by Case and Delano... wow. It was a hell of a run, Berger.
