Can I just say what a reduction to search out someone who truly knows what theyre speaking about on the internet. You undoubtedly know how to carry an issue to light and make it important. Extra folks must read this and understand this side of the story. I cant consider youre not more widespread since you positively have the gift.

Age Of Ultron leads to Ultron controlling the sentinels and DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The year is actually accurate for DAYS OF FUTURE storyline (2013) The past is altered leading to the marvel universe being changed somehow.

Jared, no one actually said anything about the story being out of date.

YOU are the one insisting that that must be Peter Parker based solely on a PRETTY PICTURE of him in the first place.

I was just telling you not to leap to conclusions over blatantly outdated art that isn’t accurately indicative of anything that may or may not be in the story. Hence me specifically mentioning Hitch and referring to only the art.

I guess you just saw the word story in my comment and went into a little frenzy before actually reading any of the other words in context. Don’t be so quick to try to insult people’s intelligence and reading ability when you’re not even reading the comments you’re trying to insult.

Can’t guess the ending? Pym dies and Ultron becomes a hero. Or Vision “dies” and they put Pym’s brainwaves in him. Something like that.

It seems that the people who are saying this story is going to be out of date didn’t read the interview and just looked at the pretty pictures.
Personally,I think Superior Spidey is still, or will eventually be, Peter. But not even getting into that again, the article states clear as day TWICE that the new status quo in Marvel NOW will be incorporated into this story. Specifically, it mentions Superior Spider-Man and Fantastic Four. So whether or not that IS Peter in the artwork above, it’s made pretty clear that that IS probably the “new” Spider-Man, whoever he may be.

True, but at least they’re fighting a villain and not each other this time.

I’m not planning on getting the series, too big an expense in too short a time, but I’m sure it’ll be beautifully illustrated between Hitch and Pacheco. I don’t get the nitpicking over the Marvel Now-ness of the series, so what if the costumes don’t match, or they recolored Iron Man’s old armor to look like his current armor? Shouldn’t we as fans be more worried about the QUALITY of the story and not the window dressing? Seems like a waste of time to complain about that stuff.

I’ll admit it, I am a sucker when it comes to Marvel events. I love’em. Couldn’t get enough of Secret Wars even! Still have my Secret Wars Spider-Man figure…
But if the ending results in the Marvel U being restarted ala The New 52…I will probably most likely pretty surely be OUT. I have no interest in that scenario.

1. I think the only way is to bring out the infinity gem.

2. But also if you remember in Avengers12.1 Ultron didn’t recognize The Protector, so that could be key. But if everyone is getting killed , the way to bring them back is to use the Infinity Gems.

3. What about Ultimate Nullifer, it could be a way to ju, start the entire Marvel Universe from the beginning.

All the heros are down, only Ultron is left standing. Dr. Doom enters from stage left.

Ultron: Die, carbon-based scum!

Doom: Silence! DOOM WILL NOT BE BEATEN BY A ROBOT!!!

Click. And Ultron falls, because Doom really won’t be beaten by a robot.

You’re reading too much into this. Hitch has been working on this story for close to 2 years now. This stuff is all out of date already. For example, Captain America is still in his old costume and take a close look at Iron Man. That’s the previous version of his armor, they just changed the colors to the new colors. etc. etc.

@PaxHouse it says in the interview that AU will be incorporating the new status quo of Superior Spidey and FF. I suppose that could be Miguel O’Hara or Ben Reilly, but I doubt it. My theory is Peter has to change his name or fake his death or something like that.

I’m impressed that Hitch got five issues in before his departure. So it seems like they’re kind of going DC’s weekly series route, which is fine by me. I have to admit, thus far I’ve enjoyed every Marvel Now! title so far, so I’ll give this some peekage.
