The first two installments of Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome — the non-Caprica Battlestar prequel — are now online. The series focuses on a young William Adama (the character played by Edward James Olmos in the 2003-2009 series, natch) and will debut as a 10-part online series at Machinima, before airing in 2013 as a TV movie on SyFy.

Awesome but frustrating. This is a terrible way to watch this. Imagine watching the original miniseries this way. Sy-Fy is a strange channel. It’s like they purposely don’t want to succeed.

I completely agree Sandman. They have nuggets of Glory yet still put most of their money into crap like Volcano in NY!!!

  3. Ricardo Says:

In Brazil most of their programming is about “paranormal hunters”, there are five or six of them. With so many great Sci-Fi shows they insist on the same thing.

There are rumours of a BSG feature film. Maybe that’s the reason they giving this treatment to B&C. It’s a shame.
