The first two installments of Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome — the non-Caprica Battlestar prequel — are now online. The series focuses on a young William Adama (the character played by Edward James Olmos in the 2003-2009 series, natch) and will debut as a 10-part online series at Machinima, before airing in 2013 as a TV movie on SyFy.

Awesome but frustrating. This is a terrible way to watch this. Imagine watching the original miniseries this way. Sy-Fy is a strange channel. It’s like they purposely don’t want to succeed.

I completely agree Sandman. They have nuggets of Glory yet still put most of their money into crap like Volcano in NY!!!

In Brazil most of their programming is about “paranormal hunters”, there are five or six of them. With so many great Sci-Fi shows they insist on the same thing.
There are rumours of a BSG feature film. Maybe that’s the reason they giving this treatment to B&C. It’s a shame.
