I have no information about traveling to Turkey, but I was a HUGE fan of Bill Mantlo’s work growing up. I know a lot of it was due to my “golden age” of being 10-14 years old when Bill was in his prime in the early 80s, but I think a majority still holds up. In particular, Micronauts and Rom. Anytime Baron Karza came back, The micronauts book was great. I still remember reading my friends copy of micronauts # 50, impatiently waiting for my subscription copy to arrive.

Still so angry over what happened to Mantlo.
This is what happens when the industry has the right to be unaccountable.

Bill’s accident really is sad. Kudos to his brother for taking care of him, as I remember there were some awful issues going on with the brother and Bill’s kids.
