Three thoughts on this coincidence:
#1: I miss the super-pets.
#2: I guess there really are only so many stories that you can do with canine crimefighting sidekicks before you get to the “They’ve gotten much smarter/better than the average dog!” plot, huh?
#3: My social media contacts are clearly trying to tell me something about my dogs.

Of course Ace knows Batman is Bruce. They smell exactly the same! It’s not even a secret for him.
