Here is some welcome good news: Kyle Baker not only owns Why I Hate Saturn again, but he’s planning new installments:
I always wanted to do a story where Cowboy Wally is forced to work with his ex-wife, who happens to be Anne from “Saturn”.
Saturn was published by DC’s “Piranha Press” imprint in 1990, and then reissued through Vertigo eight years later; for those who haven’t read it, it’s a cynical, hilarious story about Anne Merkel, and her sister, who claims to be the Queen of the Leather Astro-Girls of Saturn. In terms of writing, it may still be my favorite thing Baker’s ever done, so the idea of seeing more of it bodes well…
