August 28th marks what would have been the 95th birthday of Jack Kirby; to celebrate his legacy, his grand-daughter Jillian wants you to help the Hero Initiative on that day through something called Kirby4Heroes (She explains what that is in a video here). It’s apparently the first in a series of announcements connected to the King of Comics, with the LA Times promising “more Kirby-related announcements coming in the next week or two.” Get your speculation engines started as to what that could possibly mean…
