I own a shop in one of those more conservative parts of the country (Shenandoah Valley, Virginia). I promoted this book to my customers in my monthly recommendation blog (the original was great stuff), but I only had 1 taker. I have a few copies for those who may have missed it, and I can guarantee the reaction from most of my customers will be either not to look at it at all (live and let live), or look and laugh with bemusement (a variation of live and let live). Conservative parts of the country or no, most comic fans are more sophisticated readers/consumers of literature and will probably take the content in stride. If they don't I can always drag out my copy of "Lost Girls" to give them perspective.
