Actually, you can’t pre-register yet. Pre-registration begins in August and is only available to attendees of this year’s Comic-Con. You can pre-register for 3 other people including yourself, but you can only pre-register others who also attended this year’s Comic-Con.

Marc is correct. You can’t pre-register yet. In fact, it’s kind of a good thing because despite what the article implies, you used to be able to pre-register at EVERY previous SDCC as long as you were willing to spend 2-3 hours in line instead of walking the floor. I like this better because at least this way, you can spend all the time at the convention and pre-register afterwards.
