I fully agree . The original rami movies didnt get the franchise right imo . it was a nice sfx rollercoaster ride , but not truly a spiderman adventure imo

This is what spiderman should have always been like from day one, spiderman 1,2,3 all a load of crud as far as i am concerned, the amazing spiderman is awsome emotional and full of spiderman originality and i dont see the hype about spiderman 2 as it doesnt even come close atall to this fantastic inspiring magnificent as the title says amazing, go see for your self and get glued to the cinema seat as i did.

Amazing is now my favorite Spider-man film. Spider-man 2 is definitely not that far behind, but the character dynamics are just so good here.

This is a very strange topic to bring up the Marvel NOW stuff in, but whatever, I’ll bite.

First off, good or not, from what we’ve seen, it certainly seems like something they haven’t done before, so I would say that qualifies as ‘creative’ We have to wait to see if it’s good creative or crappy creative, but it at least seems new.

That said, I am a little worried about the apparent merging of the X and avengers franchises. Like newsarama’s recent list said, one of the worst things about modern marvel is that everything is either x-men or avengers. By combining the two, everything will now simply be X-avengers.

Liked “Amazing Spider-Man,” but did not love it. I think everyone agrees that the pecking order is Spider-Man 2, Amazing, Spider-Man 1, Spider-Man 3. Not bad, but not a transformative life experience.

My grade: B to B+

On another note, good lord Marvel releasing 20 new titles? No thanks. Uncanny Avengers looks so ridiculous. They’re not even trying to be creative anymore.

Keeping my fingers crossed for a U.S. gross of $320 to $350 million (yes, even with The Dark Knight Rises opening almost three weeks later) and a worldwide gross of $1 billion. This movie deserves to gross more than any of the crappy Transformers movies (or at least the first and the last; the grosses of the second one were just too high).

Saw the midnight showing and really really enjoyed it. Garfield was excellent and as good as the Raimi movies were overall, I never felt Maguire-Spidey captured the real essence of Spidey. Garfield gets so much more closer to how Spidey is in the comics…especially in costume.

I have already seen THE AMAZING SPIDER MAN, it is really a good movie. I like both actor and actress. I recommend this movie a lot.
