Oh, man. Michael Chabon’s Fantastic Four really would’ve been amazing. Can we collectively agree that, if somebody does one day build a time machine, one of the first things that they’ll do is go back and ensure that this actually happened?

Why would it be awesome? Just because Chabon likes comics doesn’t mean he’d be good at writing them. Just look at Jonathan Lethem’s Omega The Unknow. That book is nonsense.

I’ll be the dissenter here. I think Chabon is a great writer, but I honestly don’t think he has the skillset (the skills created by desire) that a great comic writer needs to do the beautiful job that a talent like Hickman, or Waid, or Morrison, or their ilk come with.

Just wanna say that Lethem’s Omega is a great comic, not for everyone, but still is pretty good.
