Via Guttersniper, Dylan Todd reimagines a new trade dress for Marvel’s Essentials line, and comes up with just design beauty:

I mean, look at those covers. They are gorgeous. If there was any justice in the world, Marvel would get in touch with Todd to get him to work as soon as possible…

    Ugly. They look like textbooks for college, which if so, then yeah they’re cool. But otherwise, hell no.

    Looks like he took inspiration from Roy Lichtenstein, which is funny since he took inspiration from comics.

    Anyhow, not bad but I’d prefer something more original.
