As promised, today’s the day that Mark Waid relaunches his website as a digital comics resource:
In the weeks to come, I’ll regularly update you with Everything I Know. I’ll explain why I originally got the bug to go digital several years ago and what about it appeals to me. I’ll introduce you to some of the webcomics creators I learned (and am still learning) from. You’ll read interviews with and guest columns by other artists and writers as we talk about what works, what doesn’t, and what ought to if we could just figure out how to implement it. Most of all, with glass-house transparency, I’ll show you my first baby steps in this new medium, and I’ll happily disclose what I’ve learned (and am still learning) about how to get the best out of it.
The relaunch is little more than one blogpost at the moment, but I admit to being excited about what’s to come; not only the resource for digital/web comics, but also the chance to watch a writer who’s arguably one of the best working for The Big Two these days learn all new tricks in public with humility and a sense of humor. It’ll be interesting to see the failures as much as the successes ahead.

I for one am waiting for the day he gives us things we can download for ourselves. PDFs for all!
He will fail from time to time, no doubt. And then he will rise to his feet and dust himself off and keep going and come up with something that works.
