  1. The Mighty Dixon Says:

Just from this preview I like this movie more than the last three already.

  2. Darkwynd Says:

Ok, I confess the other trailers didn’t catch my attention, but this 1 was awesome! The funny lines, the costume, the webslingers, Lizard, the persecution, the Parker awkwardness. This is how the 1st movie should have been made! I just hope they haven’t forgot Uncle Ben and the famous line “With great powers, comes great responsibility”!

  3. felicia Says:

Better Peter Parker, better Gwen Stacy, better story, better script, better first villain, better webslinging, better Aunt May and Uncle Ben, better everything.

I just have two words to say? “Tobey who?”

  4. Darryl Says:

Looks good, Even thoug i left the books with the gwinn sleeping with norman trainwreck along with all the mess that has destroyed the book. i am looking forwerd to this movie.

  5. Joe Says:

Solid looking trailer. And though the Gwen / Norman thing was a complete mess – you might want to give Amazing another try if you’re a fan. The books better now than it’s been in years.

  6. JLoder24 Says:

    Put your f***ing mask on!

  7. PhantomKrypton Says:

Where is J Jonah Jameson and the Daily Bugle?

  8. sniperboy4 Says:

Somewhere Ron Lim has shed a single tear…

  9. BigPhatPaulie Says:

I couldn’t stand the previous three Spider-Man Movies…but this looks awesome. This is how it should have been done the first time

  10. Allen Says:

    “I made him.”
    “You worked wth MY FATHER.”

So, now, Spiderman, the one superhero who was NOT saddled with stupid superhero movie cliches like Batman’s “Heroes make villains/Villains make heroes” thing and “REVENGE for my FATHEEEERRRR!” syndrome is now saddled with BOTH in this new film.

    Yuck.

  11. Michael Huff Says:

Okay, you twisted my arm. I love it. The fight scenes are what we’ve been missing. A lot of the silliness that Sam Raimi added to the previous productions seem to have been eliminated. WEB SHOOTERS!!! Thank you! And my favorite Spider-Man element–the sense of humor. The Spidey we love in the comic books could easily do standup and it just stands to reason with all the pain he’s had to endure. It’s his main defense mechanism and it keeps us coming back to hear more of what he’ll say next. I love it. I’m going to see this one.

  12. Cisco Kid Says:

It feels a bit angst ridden, especially the all darkness and brooding music, the “I created him” bit, and the creepy effing Dr Conners.

I prefer the Raimi tone, as it feels more like Spidey than this trailer, but I like the action here. Plus, Denis Leary kills it as Capt Stacy. I’ll give it a shot!

  13. Leandro Says:

Ok the trailer looks good and I hope the movie to suceeed, but…it’s kinda unfair how sudenly the previos franchise is as bad as “Batman And Robin” for some folks here. The previous movies, except for the third, have been keep in hight regards, but if like if dadn brought us a new toy and now for us the others toy we had are crap.

  14. benwahbob Says:

I’m sorry but Tobey Maguire did a great job as Peter Parker. It’s just that nerd need to “break Up with the old girlfriend” that makes peopl slam the last 3 movies as bad, when they weren’t. They were critical (1 :89% and 2: 93% on Rotten Tomaotes) and Financial successes.

  15. Cuda B Says:

It’s not that I think the first three were bad, but they were incredibly cheesy at points. I also thought Maguire’s Spider-man was too dry. That may have been a fault of the writers though. The humor didn’t come from the character as much as it did from every revoltin’ development that took place.

They’re not bad films, but they’re not as good as they were on first viewing when it was easy to get lost in the novelty of Spider-man on the big screen. It’s only on repeated viewings that the flaws became more apparent.

  16. Kyle Says:

Where is Spider-man trying to get revenge for his father? There’s nothing in the trailer to indicate that.

  17. M. Says:

    This looks great!

Spidey and Batman are the only ones I’m looking forward to seeing. Sorry Avengers. If it wasn’t for Joss directing it’d be a different story, but I can’t stand that guys work.
