You know, A LOT of people said the same sorts of things when the Founding Fathers of Image broke away and when Robert Kirkman produced his Green Screen Video…

…Millar knows how to promote his books. He knows how to captivate his audience. As a young voice trying to make my mark…I admire what he’s done and the success he’s attained.

Most people who remark negatively to a guy like this typically haven’t attained success in the comic book industry or they haven’t done ANYTHING at all in the way of creating a comic book of any sort.

before taking on the Big Two …maybe he should just put out good comics…….

there a quite a few publishing houses to leapfrog before he gets to #3 Image,Dynamite,Dark horse,IDW….. those 4 alone should present a hurdle i doubt he’ll reach.

Maybe he should focus on content instead of being a poor man’s Quesada being a Poor man’s Jemas being a Pooorer man’s Shooter being a dicklike Stan Lee.

I would be interested if he were comparing it to the Image that has new and interesting titles by a wide variety of talent. Less interested if he’s referring to the Image group that can’t release titles on time, and can’t complete their hyped-up crossover “Image United.”

Has ANY bit of Millar hype ever turned out to be anything other than overblown self-promotion? He’s long been the boy who cried wolf, and his last several projects have ranged from disappointing to awful — except perhaps in the eyes of whatever producers he’s managed to con into paying attention to him.

His announcements will all boil down to “Here comes more nicely-drawn shite!”
