It’s Christmas Eve Eve – The night when you won’t be able to sleep because you’ll be so excited about being excited about the next day. Or something. It’s also the third last day of the Advent Calendar, so click through for the very last weekday cover…Bruce Timm, I think we can all agree, is a master artist (Even if you’re not bowled over by the layout and use of color on his Batman Adventures Holiday Special cover from 1995, just look at the way he’s done the reflection of Batman’s gloves. That’s awesome work, admit it), and this cover may be one of my favorite pieces of his. The entire book is well-worth checking out, if you can track it down, containing as it does the original The Harley and The Ivy story that made me into a massive fan of Ronnie Del Carmen’s that I am today (Go Google his Paper Biscuit work, if you haven’t already) alongside the other Dini/Timm work therein. Really just amazing work.
