I would have to say J. Byrne the last Galactus story has to be the most fragrant
example of an unfinished story that begs for an ending.

Beating a dead horse….but Kevin Smith’s Daredevil/Bullseye. Issue #1 was awesome, too bad we never saw #2.

Also, I know we’re talking about comics here, but, dangit, I just can’t get over the cancellation of Firefly. Now, I know that one or two plotlines were wrapped up in the movie and comics, but obviously not in the way they were intended, with many more things needing to be explored. Wouldn’t it be great to have a “Firefly, Season 2″ comic? Anyone?

re: Silent War.

I thought the ending of it was Luna asking Black Bolt how to stop the eventual Maximus-led Inhuman/Human War and him responding (i.e. speaking, i.e. blowing everything up). Just going by the last two pages (Black Bolt about to open his mouth, solid black page)it is strongly implied he does just that but I can understand why the writers and the powers that be wouldn’t want to follow through with it.

I’m still wondering when will “New Universal” be continued .

But i wonder about the mentioned silent war …. isnt it basically solved by the following events ?

Like secret invasion revealing Black Bolt was a fake , the Inhumans leaving for space and conquering the Kree empire ?

Let me second Brian on Sojourn. Marvel could at least give us a four-issue miniseries like Sigil, Ruse, and Mystic. I think there is potential for Ruse and Sojourn to be ongoing series.

Without a doubt Matt Wagner’s Mage. And this is a bit of a cheat but Crossing Midnight to be properly finished instead of cramming three or four arcs worth of story into a single issue.
