Yes, the Man of Steel has clearly snapped, driven insane by the endless good cheer of the season on Wayne Boring and Stan Kaye’s rather spectacular cover to Action Comics #93, from all the way back in 1945. Think of it as a very unexpected inspiration for Mark Waid’s Irredeemable*.
