Seasons Beatings! It’s an old-school slugfest on Day Four of the Blog@ Advent Calendar…If there’s just one thing that I really love from this Jim Aparo cover to Batman #309, it’s the idea that Blockbuster has written Batman a Christmas card, just to warn him that he’s going to try and kill him. Can’t you just imagine how much fun Alfred would have, opening the Batcave mail every morning: “Another death threat, Master Bruce. At least this one has a very picturesque drawing of a reindeer on it.”
