I hadn&#039;t thought about it, but we really are in an age of trying to make the reader forget that there&#039;s ink on the comic book page, even to the point of coloring directly over the pencils! 

There&#039;s a place for that, I guess. My preferences lean toward the more &quot;comic booky&quot; bold black ink lines. I hadn&#039;t thought of the commonality before, but I guess that&#039;s why the three artists you mentioned are all current favorites of mine.</description>
