Over at Millarworld, Tony Harris is sharing the original inkwash and finished painting for an upcoming cover to DC’s The Shade miniseries:

The second version is, according to Harris, “traditional painting on board with liquid acrylic.” It’s beautiful stuff, and now I wish that we could see a fully-painted project from Harris someday.

As much as I wish Mr. Harris were handling some of the internal art, I am totally thrilled he’s doing covers for The Shade.

Like the subtle touches – for example not having a great big hand squeezing the babies head in the ‘after’ version
