Wait wait wait: Lois Lane’s new boyfriend is called Jonathan Carroll? I wonder if he’ll turn out to write magical realist novels in his spare time. Or, perhaps he’ll end up moving to San Francisco and becoming a columnist at the Chronicle over there. I can’t work out if this is some kind of Easter Egg on behalf of Grant Morrison, George Perez or someone else at DC, or just a sign that no-one does those name checks to make sure that you’re not using any public figure’s name over there anymore. Whichever it is, I look forward to meeting Bruce Wayne’s new girlfriend, Ursula Le Guin.
