So now she doesn’t have pants?
With the costume change last year for Wonder Woman, a lot of focus was placed on the fact that she had pants, losing the star spangled bathing suit style bottoms. When the relaunch of the entire line was announced, people wondered what costume Diana would don, and some were disappointed to see the long blue leggings once more.
Now, however, on DC’s seasonal preview magazine cover, Wonder Woman is back in the original bathing suit, and out of the pants that were seen in the solicited cover to Wonder Woman #1. Could she, like her failed TV Pilot counterpart, be switching back and forth between the two? More as soon as we hear it…
UPDATE: When we reached DC for comment, a representative simply had this to say:
“We can confirm that the actual cover to issue 1 has now been revealed.”
Sounds like Wondy’s doing the no-pants dance after all!

July 13th, 2011 at 10:38 am
The thing is, it’s still not her original look..it’s her current ditorted look with shorts. The problem is at the point DC has mad such a big deal of this it’s becoming a sexist joke of “women can’t decide what to wear.” DC needs to commit and take an opportunity at the comic-con to ask it’s readers live for feedback- like they did last year causing the leather jacket to be removed.
July 13th, 2011 at 10:42 am
well, that’s… closer to the original, anyway. if that was in response to the negative backlash, i wonder if we’ll see any other last minute changes?
July 13th, 2011 at 10:44 am
If anyone needs to lose their pants it’s Superman.
Er, I could have worded that better.
July 13th, 2011 at 10:44 am
I wish they had kept the pants. I hate the idea of her running around in panties.
July 13th, 2011 at 10:46 am
Like everything else on the internet, these discussions occur without knowing much. Pants, no pants. The fact of the matter is we need to just wait and see. So much opinion, hatred and disappointment is created when we don’t even know what their plan is.
My opinion is her looked needs to be updated. It’s outdated. Classic, yes, but outdated. The pants don’t bother me.
July 13th, 2011 at 10:47 am
And thank you oh so much for the spoiler concerning Sinestro. I had been avoiding that.
*sigh*
July 13th, 2011 at 10:50 am
The black boots only look good with those godawful leggings they had her in. Red boots work with the shorts and they should get rid of that choker and arm band…she’s not Dazzler for Hera’s sake!
July 13th, 2011 at 10:53 am
For gods sakes DC make your fricking minds up. If you going to update, update and to hell with whiny fanboys who are actually sinking comics! Compromise and gave the gal a warrior skirt or something. It is a tad ridiculous to see her in a tong bustier in this day and age. Having ging fans dictating to you guys makes you all look wussy.
July 13th, 2011 at 11:03 am
It looks like they will bring the classic costume. And that will be ok with me. Those chokers are plain stupid!
July 13th, 2011 at 11:10 am
I honestly don’t mind that she wears pants I think the costume looks good either way
July 13th, 2011 at 11:10 am
Sales gimmick. Everytime they update their looks, they always end up in classic duds eventually. I think they’re trying to find a look that will transfer over to a feature film..which will never happen ..at the rate their going. By the time their solo films take off ryan reynolds will be 70 ..
July 13th, 2011 at 11:33 am
“For gods sakes DC make your fricking minds up.”
In fairness, they’re making this all up as they go along. They have no plan, no strategy, no ideas, they’re just desperate.
July 13th, 2011 at 11:37 am
When I clicked through to the solicited cover to WW #1, I also noticed that Justic League International #1 no longer features the character in the Bottom Left of the screen that looked like Donna Troy…
July 13th, 2011 at 11:46 am
Good. The pants were a waste of thought on jms part anyway.
July 13th, 2011 at 12:00 pm
@John Smith: In all fairness, it’s probably because of morons like you that think they’re above what the company decides was making noise about the pants so they changed it back.
Dear DC: Stop listening to mouth-breathing Internet fanboys who are dwindling your market share and stick with a move that fanboys don’t like.
I guess no EIC has ball of steel.
July 13th, 2011 at 12:01 pm
Just looks even worse with the blue boots.
July 13th, 2011 at 12:08 pm
@Pissedoff, I could care less what DC does. I just think it’s funny to watch them so obviously flailing and desperate, even as they keep trying to convince everyone this has been in the works for ages. It hasn’t, it’s a desperation play, and it’s going to collapse gloriously.
July 13th, 2011 at 12:11 pm
Another sign that DC hasn’t thought this whole thing through. Surprise surprise.
July 13th, 2011 at 12:13 pm
It is so silly to have wonder woman to wear panty instead pants. it is NOT proper go into battle like that. Only it would be make sense if she goes to Beach! wear full pant makes her look so proper into battle gear and serious. I think wear panty is not make her totally serious. No matter now what she is powerful but DC comics ought keep new costume with pant, not back to old costume!!!
July 13th, 2011 at 12:23 pm
I liked the new look. It’s more of what an all purpose warrior would wear.
The pants-less look is more sexual, but not as sensual to me, and I’ve never understood how a Greek character runs around in all-American underwear as a costume.
Can there be compromises? Of course, but you finally dress Wonder Woman as a WOMAN, instead of stripper-of-the-week, and you balk at the last minute?
This is why I read more Marvel. Not all of their ideas work either, but they at least give it a full shot before changing or backpeddaling.
July 13th, 2011 at 12:24 pm
Whatever @John Smith said. DC has absolutely no planning, it’s everything on the go. Did you guys check out the mess with all GL books?
July 13th, 2011 at 12:28 pm
The reason she runs around in a star spangled costume is because its Amazonizn custom to don the colors of a foreign nation when undertaking a mission there, at least that’s what that Wonder Woman Animated movie said and that made sense. Except we don’t see Wonder Woman changing her outfit every time she goes to another country. Honestly i had just gotten used to the pants too.
July 13th, 2011 at 12:51 pm
I like every look but the all white polyester. Big question, will the book be good?
July 13th, 2011 at 12:56 pm
I like her better without pants. It actually proves her fierceness as a warrior to go into battle in just shorts. But I don’t want to see the shorts become a thong again, like they have often been drawn. DC needs to have her drawn apporpriately without her breasts hanging out of the bustier and with more than just floss between her legs. She doesn’t have to wear the cutlottes of the ’40s, but she needs to be covered and look right. George Perez drew the costume well. Phil Jiminez drew the costume well. Jerry Ordway drew them well. It can be done.
And I agree – the choker is stupid. That needs to go. I don’t mind the arm band. I would like to see the boots return to being red. The black/blue boots don’t look right.
July 13th, 2011 at 1:00 pm
I say give the 50+ year old woman her pants back.
July 13th, 2011 at 1:13 pm
I like the shorts better than the pants.
She really doesn’t need the protection that some site with the pants given her powers and abilities. Plus if you’re going to speak out against the shorts on the basis of practicality, she’d be able to move a lot more freely with shorts than with pants.
I tend to find that some complaints on the shorts are of the basis of the modesty of the character herself…The whole bathing suit complaint. My idea is along the lines of a skirt. But not an ordinary blue with white stars skirt as some may think.
I say take a cue from her background steeped in Greek Myth.
Give her a leather strapped skirt as a character of Greek Myth would wear, but over the traditional trunks. Make that leather strapped skirt blue with white stars on them, going down each strap. Search Photoshopped images of How I Met Your Mother actress Cobie Smulders as Wonder Woman to get what I’m talking about here.
P.S. Lose the choker. I don’t mind the armband, really, but that choker has to go. And revert her boots to red again.
As for Superman’s new suit in the upcoming Superman: Man Of Tomorrow?
Don’t mind the loss of the red trunks, but put some yellow in the squares on that red belt. Loose that atrocious neckline!!! Superman looks much better with the flared collar with the cape coming off. And make the outfit itself a thin latex rubber (saying it was Kryptonian fabrics from his rocket if they need to) and NOT body armor. Also get rid of those lines all over the suit. Those lines totally detract from the iconic look of the figure to the point that it almost becomes all you focus upon(This goes for Batman and the rest of the JLA as well…Jim Lee, I like your art but not feeling some of the design changes you’ve made here).
Also no kneepads or armored boots on Superman. He seriously looks like a 90s Image Comics character and THAT IS NOT SUPERMAN. I’m all for redesigns but not that extreme.
As such, I’m STILL very interested in Action Comics #1 and Superman: Man Of Tomorrow #1, so far. But please de-Image that costume!!!
July 13th, 2011 at 1:17 pm
She just looks silly again. The pants were a huge improvement. Wonder Woman is a joke of a charter and the panties is a huge reason why.
July 13th, 2011 at 1:48 pm
ATTENTION: All you people who pushed for her to have long pants. It’s time for you to leave. DC has finally given us TRUE FANS the bathing suit back again.
If you didn’t like her before, you weren’t WW fans to begin with. You like the idea of a WW but you weren’t actually fans of Diana.
Please go away and find something else to read.
July 13th, 2011 at 1:53 pm
Yep, she looks like a joke again.
July 13th, 2011 at 1:53 pm
They ALMOST made her cool looking. A pity.
July 13th, 2011 at 1:59 pm
I think the problem it is not in the suit, it is in the story: A mythological godess should wear a suit according to that, a catwalk model the other way, etc.
July 13th, 2011 at 2:14 pm
Yet more DC editorial FAIL. Sure makes one excited for whatever crap they end up with in September, if they’re still riding their usual slippery slope of weekly blunders (see this week’s SUPERMAN for yet more brain dead silliness).
July 13th, 2011 at 2:15 pm
I’d prefer WW in a skirt, but not necessarily in a leather skirt as someone above suggested. I think there was an issue of Superman or Action Comics where Jim Lee had drawn her with a battle-axe and shield as she prepared to fight Superman, and in that issue she was wearing a semi star-spangled skirt.
I think it complimented her overall look with her panties underneath. It’s a perfect compromise as I can’t stand her with pants. Skirt all the way!
Oh, and she should use traditional Greek weapons more often than just relying on her lasso, bracelets and tiara. Make it a case by case usage depending on who she’s fighting.
July 13th, 2011 at 2:17 pm
No one should be satisfied until they give her back her original 1930s ugly hairdo.
July 13th, 2011 at 2:33 pm
Well thanks DC, at least I can save some money and spend it on something better.
July 13th, 2011 at 2:52 pm
Fans are weird… if Wonder Woman has pants, they complain saying shorts are better. If shorts are back on, they also complain. Go figure…
Anyway, i liked the pants and overall new costume. In Justice League images she also has pants. I like the pants better.
July 13th, 2011 at 2:59 pm
I JUST WISH THAT THE WRITER WILL COME UP WITH A INTERESTED STORYLINE AND STOP WORRYING ABOUT WHAT SHE IS WEARING. IT IS NO WONDER THAT THE PRODUCER IS HAVING A HARD TIME SELLING THE NEW WONDER WOMAN SERIES. GOOD LUCK TO THE NEW WONDER WOMAN BOOK AND SERIES. YOUR TRULY CHARLES DAVID HASKELL
July 13th, 2011 at 3:02 pm
I would be interested in the results of a poll that went out to NON-comics readers asking:
Would you read a Wonder Woman comic book if:
A. It cost $2.99 and featured her in the “classic” bathing suit look.
B. It cost $2.99 and featured her in a “modern” look with pants.
C. The price was something less than $2.99 regardless of how she was dressed.
D. I’m simply not going to buy a Wonder Woman Comic book.
My guess is the vast majority would be C or D. I believe that no amount of redesigning costumes is going to significantly change the sales on any title, but that is just my opinion.
July 13th, 2011 at 3:03 pm
Thank God. If DC wants to see how good a WW with pants will do, then give Donna Troy a book and see if it outperforms Diana’s book.
Wonder Woman’s an icon and the bathing suit is iconic. At least when Jim Lee altered it in For Tomorrow, it was more Greek-like look than the pants were. Slight change is good, but a radical change is really pushing it.
July 13th, 2011 at 3:24 pm
At this point, I’m not getting excited about the pants vs no pants debate. I’m just looking forward to Wonder Woman’s relaunch with Brian Azzarello at the helm!
July 13th, 2011 at 3:25 pm
Pants or no pants? I’m fine with it either way, personally I prefer a skirt(Xena style maybe). My gripe is her choker & arm band, that needs to go.
July 13th, 2011 at 4:42 pm
Wow, that’s so retarded! In what was supposed to be an initiative that would update and modernize several aspects of the DCU, it seems like they’re still scared to really do so. The hell with those fans that were complaining about WW’s pants! DC needs to stick with their guns, but it seems they never can. Comics will always be stuck in the past and will only continue to go downhill if they are incapable of evolving.
I was actually thinking of checking out this new WW series. But now that I hear she’s going back to her 1960′s look… no thanks! That bathing suit costume is so far beyond lame it’s not even funny. Seems more and more like everything is just going to be the same old boring status quo after all.
This is why young people find comic books to be lame and cheesy. There are tons more forms of entertainment out there that are modern and cutting edge. Comic books are officialy a form of entertainment aimed at nostalgic-freak 50-70 year olds, and as that target audience continues to die off and decrease, so will the comic book business.
July 13th, 2011 at 4:46 pm
Yo, Mike: I hope you were being ironic when you claimed that to truly love Diana instead of just WW you needed to love the shorts. It kinda demeans all the other things the character could stand for if the most important quality to be a true Diana fan is how she chooses to cover her crotch and legs.
I do wish that the current version retained the straps, particularly the criss-crossy things on the arms… reminds me of the criss-crossy things on Greek (or is that roman?) sandals.
However, I do like most of the WW costumes and have no problem with her having multiple choices. I’ve been into all the WW incarnations since 1977 and, as a kid the “superpower” I loved the most from her TV show version was the ability to spin around into the ideal outfit for the situation (diving suit, motorcyclist, with a cape).
July 13th, 2011 at 4:51 pm
Hopefully her #1 issue will be a flashback to her origin or something. In Justice League #1 preview art she was wearing the pants. I WANT THE PANTS! She should be embarrassed to run around in a bathing suit!!!!
July 13th, 2011 at 4:58 pm
I want a good story but I also want iconic. This is iconic. I showed this to my best girlfriend (the original new pants look), she said thats not Wonder Woman. You want new people and more readers, then have the character be recognisable. Her classic look is recognisable. Phil Jimenez, Adam Hughes, George Perez, Aaron Lopresti, The Dodsons, Bernard Chang, Nicola Scott, Ed Benes and countless others get this.
July 13th, 2011 at 5:25 pm
I preferred the original #1 cover WITH pants! If they’ve decided to revert to Wonder Woman’s “original” costume, then where are the red boots and why has the tacky and entirely superfluous arm-band and choker remained?
I really wish they would just update Wonder Woman’s costume with a FINAL design and stick with it. Why is Wonder Woman still in pants (albeit with her breasts almost completely exposed) in the new SDCC “Justice League” preview image, yet in panties for her own cover? Out of all the recent re-designs, I probably favour the TV series costume with the dark blue (non spandex) pants and red boots. It’s a shame that the TV series costume wasn’t adopted for the comic books as well.
July 13th, 2011 at 5:37 pm
Now let’s hope DC changes Harley Quinn back too.
July 13th, 2011 at 5:42 pm
She is wearing the pants in JL. See CBR.
So all this pants , no pants business and whining is just stupid.
July 13th, 2011 at 5:49 pm
People seem not to understand that Wonder Woman was created as an erotic fantasy. One wishes there could be new comics with the – well, maybe “innocent” isn’t the right word; unselfconscious, say – titillation of the golden age stories.
July 13th, 2011 at 6:00 pm
Red boots. Not blue. Not black. Red. The whole “silver” thing is still horrible, but at least fix the freakin’ boots if you’re going to give her the shorts she deserves.
July 13th, 2011 at 6:09 pm
If the DCnU were a staring contest, this would be the first blink.
I’m certain there will be more to follow!
July 13th, 2011 at 6:19 pm
God please don’t take away her pants!
I hate the thong, undies
If they put her in a mini-skirt
I am good with that but back to the undies/thong
Oh God NO! NO! NO!
July 13th, 2011 at 7:40 pm
who cares about whether its practical. This doesn’t happen in the real world. New Harley would pop out everwhere in real life, starfire same, does it really matter, this is not the real world!
July 13th, 2011 at 8:23 pm
Coloring error, maybe?
July 13th, 2011 at 9:37 pm
Man. I was psyched for new Wonder Woman with Cliff Chiang. Now… I’m growing bored. Just put her in f**king pants already and let the nerds deal with it. The bathing suit thing is and always has been stupid. I’ve never ever bought Wonder Woman as a comic and now it’s off the list again.
Comics publishers need to grow some balls
July 13th, 2011 at 11:10 pm
Alright everyone take a moment and let’s think about the character and her origins/culture! She comes from a culture that is advanced in philosophy, science, art, etc, etc. If you take the time to understand the philosophy of Greek and early Roman culture you will learn they saw the beauty of the external/physical body as reflective of the inner mind and spirit. In other words fit/beautiful body reflected a fit harmonious mind and spirit. They also viewed the pursuit of perfecting ones body as noble, not vain as some might view it today.Diana’s culture has moved beyond seeing the body as purely sexual.Remember the Amazons celebrate mind, body, and spirit.Their ideologies are far ahead of Man’s world. Now throw in that she’s invulnerable to pretty much everything (temperature, physical trauma, etc)and you see that she has no need for armor or clothes for that matter. Please remember she’s here on a mission of peace as well as an ambassador for Amazonian culture. She’s here to enlighten us; to inspire and move us to our highest potential! So when you look at her costume/uniform and say she should be covered, more modest, etc, etc,;I ask you:are you looking at her thru your cultural/personal bias or thru her enlightened culture? You don’t have to agree with Amazonian(Greek and Roman) culture but try to understand it’s Ideals and logic.Greg Rucka touched on some of this during his run and Perez brought her culture to the forefront. When those that talk about her needing a more practical ( modest) costume your talking about her as though she were a regular hero. That’s the problem, she not! She’s a gift from the gods, an ambassador,an immortal etc, etc! the old costume is indicative of a certain mind set, philosophy, and practicality. The new costume does not allow for maximum mobility.A warrior ( which she is) would require that. Jackets, pants, and choke collar, what purpose can they serve? last but not least, she has no issues with her body. Her sexuality and sensuality are a part of who she is but she (and all Amazons) do not let that define them. She will force you to meet her at her level and she(nor any other Amazon) would allow themselves to be subjugated by a less than enlightened view. If you feel the old uniform was too sexy;I would ask you to examine your ideas about sexuality, women, a beautiful physical body and how the society you live in has possibly influenced that point of view for better or worse. If we’re not careful we bring Diana down to our level instead of trying to rise to hers. Please take a moment to read about these cultures, real and mythologically. I think anyone would agree we can always grow beyond our current views if we are willing to step outside the box and see things from a more enlightened vantage point. This is the purpose of Wonder Woman!
July 13th, 2011 at 11:17 pm
The fact is this is seems like a knee-jerk idea that was not fully fleshed out when announced. The creative teams on the current books didn’t know this was happening, writers have multiple books, including unproven writers being given big name titles. The statement by DC was that they wanted teams who could produce monthly books and this was mandatory yet the second issues have some new artists already not to mention Jim Lee whom cannot produce monthly and caused the comic implosion years ago when he helped master-mind Deathmate with Valiant. They haven’t decided on “cannon” events yet they say l major ones happened…that is a lot of events for a 5 years old team. Even the original solicts had alternate creators…now the art is still being finalized and the new Image…sorry, DC is trying to play it off like it was the plan all along. It almost seems to me they want to fail. RIP DC…welcome Warner Bros Comics.
July 14th, 2011 at 3:16 am
LAME DC!
Why not stick to the pants? They are more contemporary…weak move DC, weak move…
July 14th, 2011 at 5:15 am
this new wonder woman has trainwreck written all over it. as usual, dc disappoints.
July 14th, 2011 at 5:51 am
Precisely @Shashi
July 14th, 2011 at 7:42 am
Okay, this is ridiculous. There’s something more important than beinf modern and realistic in a FICTIONAL book and that’s being true to the character. She’s from a damn amazon island, she would care more about comfort in battle than wearing some stupid pants. For crying out loud people, quit getting suckered in by gimmicks. This whole debate is indicative of the whole problem with comics today. They have such little creativity they have to focuse on pants.
July 14th, 2011 at 11:12 am
@Ricardo: No one cares what your dumb speculative ass has to say STFU
The GL solicits were planned you dumb p.o.s
July 14th, 2011 at 1:40 pm
This is hilarious! DC fans must running away in droves or hanging around and trying to like the DCNu.
DC fans living in denial.
Nothing else is funnier.
They get shit on again and again. But keep coming back, again and again.
Its like being fan of garbage and human feces. Keeping eating it dudes!
July 14th, 2011 at 7:04 pm
Anyone who thought Wonder Woman’s costume change was actually permanent clearly didn’t read the actual comic book. The return of the original costume – the original character – was telegraphed from the very beginning of the so-called reimagining.
July 14th, 2011 at 8:38 pm
Seriously? People are upset and disappointed that DC gave the fans who have followed Wonder Woman for years her recognizable and distinguishable look over the pants? If they were true Wonder woman fans this wouldn’t be an issue. They would be happy that the Diana that the have invested in for decades is at least visually there. Her shorts are Wonder Woman just as the S is for Superman and the pointed ears are for Batman. Acting indignant and above it all is ridiculous. DC was mandated to change Wonder Woman’s costume to match the failed NBC pilot, now that it isn’t a go, they can bring back the Wonder Woman who was taken out of continuity for the last year due to the Odyssey stoyline, a fan of Wonder Woman would know this. And saying, Oh I was going to get it, but now I’m not, is bullsh#* because they were never gonna buy it with or without pants. WW is looking better and I cannot wait to get it now.
July 15th, 2011 at 12:19 am
Thank Hera! Now that is Wonder Woman. Not the imposter they were trying to force down the fans throats. Few characters on this planet are as easily recognizable and respected as the iconic image of Wonder Woman. If this is indeed the correct cover, I have a reason to renew. For the first time in over a year, I’m excited about my favorite character again.
July 15th, 2011 at 11:11 am
DC COMICS, please read this:
Keep the pants, and keep the gold elements of her costume silver like you initially planned. WW needs the update. Eventually she’ll get picked up for a show (I think someone is going to come along and give it a shot)
It’s just a better design, and makes more sense for the look that the soon-to-be-current creative team are doing with her.
To go backwards is just cowardly.
I actually really like the look of the pants. The panties look just feels too exposed, tactically. The original cover for WW1 feels so much more “right” then the updated panty version.
And the silver elements of her costume was, to me, a brilliant design element as I’ve always found gold to look tacky; silver feels better and helps to streamline her look to not feel so silly.
Regarding the armband and choker: really? I’ve shown a few girl friends of mine, one of whom is a stylist, and they all felt she was wearing to much clutter/junk jewelery. The stylist said that it was clearly designed by a man.
Women do not wear chokers. THEY RESEMBLE DOG LEASHES TOO MUCH. If the point is to establish new readers, with hopefully a few being female, then go for a less sexist costume. At least give it a shot and then change it up a few months down the line. But go for it.
Pants costume, with no dog leash/choker.
July 15th, 2011 at 11:13 am
Er- “panty” was supposed to be “pantie”…
Also, another reason silver looks better to me is because whenever we see warriors 9 times out of 10 they have silver metal blades to their swords. It’s a nice tweak that hints at the warrior vibe.
July 15th, 2011 at 11:22 am
I wish her look for the comic was this:
http://www.bleedingcool.com/wp-content/uploads//2011/07/lemus_WHITE-room-skyline-fight-FINISH.jpg
Love the stars on the pants. Sigh.
July 16th, 2011 at 1:05 pm
THIS IS TERRIBLE! WONDER WOMAN DOES NOT WEAR PANTS ON HER OUTFIT, IT DOESN’T LOOK RIGHT! GIVE US BACK THE ORIGINAL OUTFIT, IT LOOKS BETTER!
July 16th, 2011 at 1:16 pm
DAN DIDIO, YOUR AN IDIOT INTO THINK YOU CAN MAKE MONEY BY NOT ONLY CHANGING THE SUITS BUT ALSO CHANGING EVERYTHING IN THE DC UNIVERSE AT ONCE, IT’S STUPID AND IT’S A TERRIBLE IDEA! WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT IT, THIS IS A SLAP IN THE FACE FOR MANY, MANY, MANY, MANY FANS AROUND THE WORLD!
WHAT THE HELL WAS HE THINKING?!
THIS IS GOING TO RUIN THE DC UNIVERSE LIKE THIS!
HE’S ONLY MAKING THE FANS UPSET!
I DON’T CARE WHAT OTHER PEOPLE SAY! THE FACT IS, THIS IS A TOTAL SLAP IN THE FACE AND THIS IS TOTALLY UNFAIR. THE DC UNIVERSE WAS DOING FINE AND WAS SUCCESSFUL FOR THE LAT 70+ YEARS AND NOT ONLY THIS HAPPENS BUT ERASE QUITE A FEW HISTORIES OF IT, IT’S MADNESS!
DIDIO, YOUR WRONG TO THINGS SHIT! IF JERRY SIEGEL AND JOE SHUSTER WHO INVENTED SUPERMAN AND THE DC UNIVERSE WAS ALIVE AND WITNESSING THIS, THEY’D BE PISSED. I KNOW I WOULD BECAUSE LIKE I SAID,THIS IS A SLAP IN THE FACE FOR MANY FANS.
July 16th, 2011 at 6:29 pm
Alls I know is someone’s head will roll because of this dipsh#@ idea of reinventing the DCU to DCNu. If it was Dan’s, then that would explain why he’s writing OMAc, which is gonna be one of the many books to fail.
I don’t understand why they just don’t make this like a Marvel Ultimate Universe and just set this world on a different Earth’s universe, then when more than half of the comics fail, they can bring back the original comics and maybe double their comic output.
July 19th, 2011 at 8:17 am
This is better without the pants, but still not good enough.
If they would to change the costume they should be more implement a clasic looks to the new costume,.
The new costume make her less wonder woman. even I dont recognize her as WW she just diferent woman with bracelets and lasso.
August 2nd, 2011 at 12:32 pm
I preferred the pants. Then again, I also thought DC should give WW a proper shirt for a top instead of something that screams “wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen.”
December 15th, 2012 at 3:10 pm
A compromise between the pants and the thong: booty shorts. And make sure the new Wonder Woman has curves. We don’t need anymore Hollywood stick figures.
