Marvel Gets Reborn (Again)

July 8th, 2011
Author Graeme McMillan

Start your guessing engines: The subject of Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuinness’ next collaboration – and apparent returnee from the land of the dead – will be revealed during Saturday’s Cup O’ Joe panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con in a couple of weeks. My bet? I think it’ll be Bucky, if he isn’t already alive again by December, when the series launches.

O.K. Let’s play, here are my guesses (knowing Marvel, the five letter spaces are just a red herring.)

    TORCH
    MUTANTS
    WASP
    PHEONIX
    ULTRON
STILTMAN (I can dream, can I)

  2. JohnByrneSaidWhat? Says:

Bucky seems like a good bet.

  3. Kevin Says:

    X-Men

  4. Neil Says:

    Hulk (I know it’s only 4 letters)

  5. Palmer45 Says:

I do not want Jeph Loeb to be writing a Bucky story.

  6. K-Box Says:

“I do not want Jeph Loeb to be writing a story.”

    Fixed.

  7. Supermutant Says:

Here is a five letter word I like to see Jeph loeb get Fired! Seriously he is become marvel’s gran morrison. I mean that bad way. A guy whose books I want to stay away from like there the plague. Like Ultimatum and Hulk.

  8. D. Peace Says:

    Loeb? McGuinness? Oh dear lord.

I would have guessed FACEPALM REBORN but that has eight letters. So close.

  9. dfdf Says:

Loeb has become Marvel’s Grant Morrison????

    WHAT?

    How dare you insult Morrison
