I can just see that hood on Bart catching some wind at supersonic speed, ripping off and snapping around for a Super Saber death scene.... and it would cause some severe drag on Aquaman's wetsuit as well. A great series of stories could have been told of Clark traveling to various parts of the world (on foot, maybe) to learn about this adopted world he inhabits. But no, we get Clark dealing with teenage angst and highschool melodrama ad-nauseum, and action scenes that are so fake and safe to watch. The season finale farewell was just a rip-off! I'm glad I only watched a few shows here and there, I gave it a chance but it just didn't work for me. Smallville just never did it for me.
