It's not so much about getting people A job, but getting them motivated on the long-term. I could see it helping people gain better socializing skills online and off, and feeling more confident about themselves. We need more creative ideas like this in our world. It should be more about helping others find their confidence and landing perfect jobs for them - less about stuffing some person in a cubicle with a job that barely makes them feel alive. While the spending seemed a bit excessive, I really liked the overall idea.
