Yes Albert, take the Batgirl suit off and give it back to Jill please.

And as far as the article goes.... no matter how good Nolan's series has been so far (and it has been very good) it's still been WAY different then the "true" Batman world. I mean, Bale's Batman doesn't remotely resemble the World's Greatest Detective in the least. My point? Just sit back, relax, and wait to see what Nolan throws at us this time. It may not be true to the DC universe, but it'll fit right in with what we've enjoyed so far.

And Albert.... TAKE THE BATGIRL SUIT OFF!!!!

I do like that any piece of information released about a Nolan Batman movie, however mundane, instantly breeds theories of elaborate misdirection. Is this viral marketing again or just fandom as usual?

Also, does the miniature fervor surrounding Talia have anything to do with the fact that two female antagonists practically guarantees a less priestly Batman than we've been seeing at the movies? One villainess is still a conflict of interest; two is not a "whether" but a "which."

What is so great about Ms. Cotillard?

She looks like Michelle Rodriguez back in the day.

The IhopesheplaystaliaIhopesheplaysTalia hype is so overrated and its obviously a ruse like Neeson's Ra's in Begins.

Levitt playing a cop doesnt come with much surprise either.

Please let her NOT be Talia. She doesn't "look like Talia." She is far from "Perfect for Talia" who is one of my favorite POC comic book characters. She's a lovely woman, and a fine actress, but she is also a White woman. Talia is officially of Middle Eastern and Chinese descent. Yes, the role of her father was whitewashed. But that gives us a chance to rectify the situation by the simple logic that her mother could certainly have been of her comic book background. Two wrongs do not make a right, and whitewashing is a practice that comic fans should not applaud.

Well in Batman Begins Liam Neeson played Henri Ducard who was later revealed to be the true Ra's Al Ghul.

even with the "official" word on those roles, I'm dubious. I could definitely see Cotillard still playing Talia. Begins had Neeson as Ducard until the near the end. Gordon-Levitt could also still be Albert Falcone ala the Departed and doing his own mastermind thing.

I must say that I'm disappointed in this announcement also. Creating new characters is fine to a degree, but the heart and soul of any Batman movie should center around his already renowned supporting cast and rogues. Marion would have been an excellent choice for Talia.
