For those who aren’t aware, the producer Donnar said, speaking about a potential Deadpool movie, that they would act as if Wolverine Origins never happened. The Deadpool movie will start from scratch. And yes, Deadpool needs to be a hard R. No PG-13 bullshit. If you’re going to do a Deadpool movie, do it right.

I’m not a DEADPOOL fans, so this is not an issue for me. However, when will there be any development for any film adaptations of either DOCTOR STRANGE, BLACK PANTHER or LUKE CAGE to hit the screen yet?

Deadpool could have been cool, like say, Blade. However they pretty much screwed everything up with him in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. They veered so far off of the character as he appears in the comics, that they would have to do a major reboot of the character. Can’t see myself getting very excited about this even if Reynolds is back. Still not really all to sure about Captain America at this point. Thor is looking interesting which is something that I’ve never felt about the character.

How about just not making a Deadpool movie? Who’s demanding this movie anyway? Deadpool fans seem to me’ the same kind of fans that encourage bands like Godsmack and Disturbed to keep making horrible albums.
Let Nicholas Cage play Deadpool and let Reynolds keep at a successful franchise and a successful character.

The days of Ryan Reynolds playing every superhero are past. That’s Chris Evans’ job now.

I think there’s more “green” to be made over on the set of the STAR WARS prequel…uh, excuse me…LANTERN sequel, anyway.

Deadpool’s a character that’s destined to make SPIRIT-level Box Office.

Pretty optimistic of Reynolds to say that a Deadpool movie would be done hard “R.” I wouldn’t be entirely surprised to learn that the suits at Fox would rather walk a mile on hot coals than let that happen. Looks like barring an eight-figure paycheck with a hefty percentage of the grosses for Ryan it’s a pretty sure thing he WON’T be playing Wade Wilson…
