Blatantly obvious as in it’s in RIGHT THERE in front of your face. It’s not “according to anyone” it’s in the trailer…which everyone can see. I’m not making it up. It’s not opinion. It’s right there. Fact. There are no Nazis in the trailer. They’re fighting Hydra. I’m pointing it out. I don’t know how else I can explain it to you.

Maybe there are Nazis in the movie, maybe there aren’t. There are none in the trailer. Everything we’ve seen so far has to do with Hydra and not Nazis.

Hey. I’m not hating. Everything I said has nothing to do with being a fanboy. It’s about good filmmaking.

I’m totally down to see this movie. I love Captain America and Marvel Studios has been hitting them out of the park.

I’m just pointing out the BLATANTLY OBVIOUS aspects of the trailer that almost EVERYONE is choosing to ignore.

This looks so awesome it hurts. Between this and Thor, this could be the greatest comic book movie summer since Iron Man and Dark Knight in 2008.

Please be good. Joe Johnston, you’ve regained my faith. You were awesome with The Rocketeer. You did stellar work with October Sky. You made a fun movie with Jurassic Park 3. And despite its obvious flaws, Wolf Man wasn’t the most awful piece of crap ever made.

This could be a rollicking good time. Way to be Chris E!

This movie looks absolutely amazing and very faithful to the comic books! Joe Johnston was the perfect choice to direct this film, and I hope that he stays on board for the inevitable sequels (which, hopefully, will take place during the war years).

What particularly got to me was the scene in which you hear a scrawny Steve Rogers say to an army recruiting officer, “just give me a chance.” That will strike a nerve with everyone who has ever been, or rooted for the underdog!

They’ve mad the REAL Captain America movie, and July can’t come quick enough for me!

Matt Murdock City couldn’t be more right. It looks more like a poor man’s Rocketeer than ROTLA. Badly shot, garbage designs, lousy casting. Awful stuff. Just awful.

I don’t understand why everyone is flipping for this trailer. It doesn’t look ANYTHING like Raiders of the Lost Ark! Half the backgrounds are clearly terrible CGI! They shot IN Europe! Why doesn’t it look like it? He mentions Hitler, but there are still NO Nazis present. The Hydra soldiers look like something out of Power Rangers. Their weapons look like toys and do not fit the time era. Chris Evan’s man voice does NOT work on that little body big headed kid.

That said….I’m still there opening day, because America…F*ck yeah. But people are you blind?!

Eh. The film looks strangely faded, like it wants to emulate video game style lighting. Evans is neither offensively bad in the trailer (as opposed to Ryan Reynolds) nor surprisingly good (RDJ or Bale). This could go either way for me.

Kinda wished it wasn’t “Howard Stark”…. but the trailer looks good and I have really high hopes for the movie.
Is Red Skull with Hydra or the Nazis??
But no complaints for me. I finally have a movie to look forward to. BIG TIME!!
