Viewing previews this way is SOOOO much better than clicking on multiple links to view single pages. Kudos!

Luke Cage suggests that Jessica should call herself Power Woman because he is (used to be) Power Man. By the same logic, she can call herself Jewel and he can be Tiara.

I STILL like Chaos War #3, and its preview, the BEST.

OK… for Avengers, that’s WAY too many pages of this book used for My Dinner with Jewel. I mean, really.
I get it, Bendis. You want to write movie scripts. That’s why you have one of Marvel’s expensive regular monthlies WASTING 1/4 of the book printing your revisionist dialog history in black and white at the end. Now you’re using the main part of the book, too.
Can someone stop this guy? PLEASE, Hollywood… he’s a good writer. Now take him away!

@ Bob, its simple, you don’t like don’t read it. nuff said. so SHUT UP!

@brad
It was a preview. Reading it didn’t cost him anything, so it’s not like he’s buying it and saying he doesn’t like it.
I’m pretty sure he can have an opinion on it.

If Bendis was only allowed to write one book for Marvel, I’d vote for the ongoing adventures of Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and Baby Danielle. That is how much I love this and how badly I miss Alias.
Also, hooray for Chaos War and a big event comic that’s actually fun, smart and interesting!

i agree on the bendis tip. if you want to read about the avengers you have to buy the most expensive book out there, and then accept that 1/4 of your money is wasted on that oral history garbage. it’s taking advantage of your loyal consumers.
it would help if the book was good.
and i thought the void died with the sentry in siege? so why is hercules fighting him?
stop buying these books.

Hey Brad – you don’t like his opinion, don’t read it. Dumb a$$.
I agree with Bob – enough of Bendis already. …and stop forcing Thor’s Shakespearean talk – he doesn’t use that anymore. Jeez.

It’s not Void. It’s Chaos King. And those who don’t like Bendis, I feel like they’re all Fraction’s underlings who is the worst thing that happened to marvel after Jeph Loeb.

Oh yeah! Chaos War is awesome.
Also, agree with “I want to be admin”, Fraction is terrible, far worse than Bendis.

Oh my, do I love Bendis in New Avengers?! I really don’t care how much people complain, they can hate Bendis all they like, I really enjoy the way he writes. Besides, I think there’s out there all kind of stories (writers, artists) for all tastes.

Nah, Fraction is awesome. He’s imaginative, keeps up with new concepts, and actually reads as a sensible and constructive non-hate-propagating human being. He’s basically a much less depressing or vulgar Warren Ellis, and as such the best thing that’s happened to Marvel in ages. He should be given the lead visionary status for the entire company.

I stopped reading Avengers awhile ago as I didn’t want to keep getting sucked into all the Marvel events. But I do like this preview, as it’s cute and low-key. Heck, I may even buy the issue!

Matt Fraction is the American counterpart to Mark Millar and the Writer counterpart to Rob Liefeld:
Inspired with Ideas.
Excrabe with Execution.

I am a long time fan and I may have been away for a minute… but I don’t ever recall Hercules EVER using language like “Aw. Screw it”. Did something happen to his character that he now speaks in modern, common language?

Seriously, who really cares about Fricken Jewel? Five pages wasted on date night for Luke and his Mary Sue?….And Bendis has two girls flirting with Luke Cage through a flipping pane of glass?
Really?!
So glad I dropped the Avengers books months before Stupid Invasion, they’ve only gotten worse since then (especially the ones Bendis is writing)…Ugh.
