If I am right by all the reviews I see, the flashpoints are leading to the “original 7″ of the JLA. It has been rumored that “they” were coming back…We had Kal, Diana and Bruce…they brought back Hal, John Barry and now Arthur. They have all at one point died and now they have at one point ALL come back. DC ROCKS.

I think “Where is his ring” might be where is his WEDDING ring as opposed to Barry’s Flash ring. Someone else pointed out that Reverse Flash would have to keep ‘Barry becoming the Flash’ since that a) created the Speed Force i nthe first place, b) inspired Thawne to become a speedster, and c) created the Reverse Speed Force that allows him to do all of this in the first place. “The chicken and the egg, Data! The chicken and the egg!”

So what if he just pulls a “One More Day” on Barry and removes Iris from his life?

When I saw the first teasers, my first thought was that “The spaceship never crashed” meant that Hal Jordan never found the dying Abin Sur and became a Green Lantern, and that “He was experimented on in a lab for years” referred to Kal-El. Now that we know “Where is his ring?” refers to a Flash, I think I was right.

Pat, I also think that the spaceship refers to GL, but my own guess is that J’onn is the one being experimented on and that we have yet to see a hint about what’s going on with Superman.

Remember in the previews though that we see Barry use the ring and it come out Reverse Flash colors. So where is his ring with his costume

Another though. Anyone think there is something to the fact that the Batman & Wonder Woman logo have the same type of back circle. Both a blood red. Flash is white and Aquaman is a blue.

In the preview image we see Batman and Flash fighting and Wonder Woman with Big Ben in flames. So maybe it is showing what side they are on

This isn’t generating any interest for me so far — comes across like an Elseworlds story, not a big event. Maybe they’ll surprise us with something different, like a major character dying or another one coming back to life.

Instead of Pokemon Lantern Corps we are getting Pokemon Flash Corps? Batman Flash, Superman Flash, Wonder Woman Flash, Black Manta Flash, etc..

The Reverse Flash got his powers by analyzing a one of Barry Allen’s Flash costumes. Flash #8 shows Zoom basically giving himself the Flash costume by leaving it for himself to almost trip over. My theory is that Zoom went back in time, stole one of Barry’s Flash rings (which stores his costume) and that was the costume he left for himself.
Alot of people seem to be assuming this is a “Big 7″ event. As Geoff has mentioned this is a Flash event. Nice to see Thawne getting a big push in this story too.

Alternate timelines isn’t new. And I’ve never been a fan of that schtick, but what really excites me about this crossover is Thawne’s new direction.

In the past, as fanboys, we’ve always discussed why supetvillains who can travel through time never just kill the heroes as kids. Heck, both Marvel and DC even set up some “time travel rules” to prevent this from happening. But as seen in Booster Gold, some attempts slip through the cracks.

Anyone who’s read Booster Gold can see the potential Zoom now has. Booster Gold himself has to pass himself off as incompetent and Rip Hunter can’t ever use his real name so no one kills him as a kid.

Now, here’s a villain who can do this. Break through the rules. And succeed as seen in Flash 8 and Flash Rebirth. Some time themed guys in the past have tried this b

While I worry it can be an excuse to retcon certain things, reading Booster Gold shows me this can be done well.

I also hope this boosts Flash to the same heights that Green Lantern has reached. I like Supes, Bats and WW but I always felt DC shouldn’t center on the three of them. I mean, Marvel’s most popular characters are Spiderman and Wolverine but you don’t see the entire Marvel U revolving around them.

I agree with Pat. The hero being experimented on in the teaseer is ad is Superman. Not Martian Manhunter.

There’s a Flashpoint ad out there of the Flash running towards you, with other images in the background. One of those images is a bunch of armed guards in front of a door with the Superman logo on it.

That means that the spaceship that never landed is Abin Sur’s, meaning that Hal Jordan never becomes Green Lantern.

These look to be fun and that why we read comics right people

I think the “Their marriage was arranged” tag is meant to apply seperately to the W and the A shapes.

The W looks more like wings than the classic Wonder Woman shape – I think this is for Hawkman/Hawkgirl, and the A applies to Aquaman and Mera.

Seems to me the teasers are as follows:
1) Superman:
- The government Experimented on him for years –
- The top of the Teaser image shows armed guards infront of the vault with the ‘S’ sheild.
This makes Supes a bit of a wild card in this story.

2) Green lantern:
- the Spaceship Never crashed – so Hal never became a green lantern
- The Teaser image has a white cloved fist with a white lantern ring
So perhaps Hal becomes the White Lantern of Earth

3) Batman:
- “He spends his days running Wayne casino’s”. which leaves his nights to be Batman i presume. No word as to whether or not this is Bruce or Dick.
- The teaser image has Batman with his face covered and red eyes.
- Also the teaser logo has a red ciricle behing it. Perhaps forshadowing the Red Lantern Corps.
Perhaps Batman is a villain in this story??

4) Wonder Woman and Aquaman
- “Their marriage was arranged to prevent war” Perhaps Diana and Arthur, Perhaps WoderGirl and Aqualad??
- The teaser poster shows WonderWoman (in modified armor on the left with BigBen in Flames.
- The left side of the Teaser poster shows Paris (Eifle Toewer) flooded
Did the Atlantian/Amazons conquer Europe???
- Also, the teaser logos above show the wonder woman symbol in front of a violet circle, and the Aquaman symbol with a blue circle possibly referencing the Violet and Blue Lantern Corps.
