My guess, completely uninformed and not at all influenced by DeMatteis in any way, is that they were probably pressured by DC Editorial to get it in ASAP, since the JLI is kind of everywhere right now between "Generation Lost" and the Batman cartoon and whatever else. @Kevin – I think that’s a fair assessment. It just seems like a scene is missing and it feels very open ended. I don't think all the time spheres are the same. The one Booster took with Black Beetle in the Blue and Gold arc was destroyed when it crashed, they stole the one he was supposed to use in the museum (Ultra-Humanite later smashed it) and Rip had to take one from Brainiac 5 to replace it. Have you no pity for Rip being stuck with the Boppy nickname, Russ? :P Great to see this back again.
