Attack of the Show‘s “Fresh Ink” segment has broken comic book news in the past — earlier this year, Marvel’s upcoming “Chaos War” story was first announced on the program — and it looks like they’re about to do it again today. From the description of today’s show on the official Web site:

“Blair Butler reports from the House of Secrets in Burbank, CA to report on exclusive news from Marvel”

Well, there you go. Attack of the Show airs on G4 at 7 p.m. Can’t watch? We’ll watch for you — stay tuned to Newsarama for updates on whatever this news may be.

UPDATE: And here it is: BLACK PANTHER Replaces Daredevil As The New Man Without Fear.

This is great news! I’ve been agonizing over which books to drop, and I think they just made my decision for one book easier.
They are replacing a character I’ve enjoyed and followed for over 20 years with a character I absolutely can’t stand and have avoided for the past 20 years. It would have made more sense to have Iron Fist, but I guess he’s getting his own title. They should have had Shang-Chi take over as DD. I could have lived with that and it would have been nice to see the character being used again.
Of course I would have preferred Paste Pot Pete, Kangaroo, or just about any other character as DD.
At least it is only temporary.

“Oh Blair Butler, my heart is exclusively yours.”
    Can’t disagree with that sentiment.

I actually just recently started watching Attack of the Show on a regular basis. Previously, with my old TV provider (FiOS) I couldn’t get G4 in HD, which I know I may seem spoiled but once you get used to HD it’s kind of difficult to watch certain types of programming in standard. Fortunately for me, I’m now an employee and subscriber of DISH Network. Not only does DISH have G4 in HD, it has a plethora of other channels in HD as well as great plans to save money on them like HD free for life!
