The subject line kind of says it all, as the impeached former governor of Illinois and the Flash: Rebirth artist met Saturday at Wizard World Chicago Comic Con.

Was there anything else going on at the con other than this? No huge news or anything? San Diego news was coming out as the event happened with new news coming out for weeks after. This is the ONLY thing I’ve seen anything said about at this Con. Was he the only person there????

@Crimsonrain – Outside of San Diego, New York and one or two other big shows, there don’t tend to be a lot of major news/announcements at cons, even big ones. The Wizard cons particularly as they’ve alienated Marvel and DC to such an extent that the Big Two go out of their way not to help out ol’ Gareb.

It shows you how far Wizard World has fallen in Chicago. There are plenty of good smaller shows out there like Wondercon in San Fran, Mega Con in Florida and Emerald City in Seattle, that don’t rely solely on star power to get people there.
I know most conventions are turning into a all media frenzy (comics even taking something of a back seat at San Diego) but really? A disgraced ex-governor? It’s not even an attempt to connect him to the comics/film world. Unless he has some unknown bio pic, no one wants to see, coming out!
