While Marvel can’t match with the awesome drawing style of DC’s animations (just check the Justice League Unlimited, Batman, Green Lantern: first flight or Wonderman) DC just can’t match with the Marvel movies: Spiderman, Hulk, Daredevil and more. I dont really like this cast without enough sexy girls Scarlet Witch, Tigra, Mocking Bird, She-hulk, Spiderwoman, Photon, Sersi or Miss Marvel who are also preeminent members of the Avengers. Where are Hercules, Wonderman, The Vision, Quicksand? By the way the suit of Wasp is so ugly! she looks like this little girls animation Winx i think! May be their plan to do like DC: Justice League then Justice League Unlimited with more migthy and interesting Avengers…DC won Emmy hope Marvel will do the same who knows…

Someone mentioned that this is clearly aimed at kids…. With a parent company like Disney, it’s no wonder.

After watching the trailer for DC OnLine (yes, I know its a game and not a toon), this was an utter waste of my time.

Message to Marvel: stick to the movies, and leave the animation arena to your competitor. :-\

marvel has proven when it comes to animated they figure cheese sells thus the music as if black panther showing up in the cartoon leading to his own movie finaly. one can only wait and see espicaly since the black panther was suppose to have his own cartoon.

I said the exact same thing. The tentacled thing writhing at 2:18 in the trailer, is the Brainiac reference.

As for all you people complaining about the music, I have nothing against theme songs in animations, but I’m going to throw-in with the haters on this one. You’re right. It stinks. It doesn’t have to win a Grammy, but it can be way better.

I feel bad for kids trying to get into the mainstream superhero comics today. I really enjoyed that the old Marvel Superheros and Spiderman (60′s) although not great animation, told the classic stories nearly to the letter and were in continuity with the issues that I was buying at the newstand/drugstore. I know that things have changed and storylines had to be revamped (all THOSE heroes would now be in their 70′s LOL) but it really gave me an appreciation for the history of the comics.

If this toon is anywhere close to as good as the recent Spiderman (maybe the best marvel toon ever) or X-Men toon, it should be ok. I’m a fan of the iron man show, too, so I have hopes for this. I’m just glad the Cap isn’t Bucky.

While the animation in the trailer and final product doesn’t look as good as the animation in the first trailer for this series (here’s a link to the first trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_G7_s8Bi9o&feature=related ), I still think that this looks pretty good.

I’m old school, so I like the theme song. And those of you wsho are complaining about the theme song and comparing this series to DC cartoons, you need to remember that the very popular and high ratings grabbing TEEN TITANS cartoon also had a theme song. I should also point out that most anime TV series have theme songs.

Despite what many of you might believe, ALL of the DC animated TV series are aimed at kids, not adults.

The reason why Black Panther is part of this lineup is so that the team will be more racially diverse (which is a good thing IMO).

The Nick Fury in this series is an amalgamation of the original classic Fury and the (IMO) crappy Ultimate Fury.

Before the Blade movies (if I’m remembering correctly) Wesley Snipes was talking about playing the Black Panther, but of course went on to play everybody’s favorite ass-kicking daywalker… and is now getting hauled-off to jail for messing with Uncle Sam’s money.
A Black Panther movie is long overdue, there are tons of actors that can play him (and please, not Will Smith, L.L. Cool J, or some flavor-of-the-minute rapper), and I’m sure not too difficult to pull off.

I’ll be checking it out, looks cool. It’s a long ways away, so I’m not too worried about the music or anything like that (though it does sound kinda cheesy, plenty of time to change that).

We nerds are lucky nowadays. Between this, the Marvel Anime stuff on G4, Green Lantern, and DC’s Animated movies, we have a lot to look forward to!

lol – Graviton does have a DBZ flavor… I must be the only one who thinks this looks pretty good (I grew up throough the 70′s/80′s so I have a natural inclination to the music). the hawkeye sequence was kick-ass! The only thing I don’t like it the way Iron Man’s head looks. But hey – watch Simpsons season 1 and compare it to season 3… artists grow in any show. this will get better looking (even the old Fox X-Men changed and improved it’s animation style through the run)

I’m a little surprised there isn’t a more dramatic jump in quality though from previous marvel stuff now that they have access to Disney resources and experience.

Some of the voice acting was definitely reminiscent of 80s stereotyped voice acting. So much so that when the power ballad hit, I burst out laughing.

Guess something fell through with BET because Marvel released it as a motion comic to buy through iTunes, Xbox and such. It’ll be on DVD toward the end of the year.
