Much has been made over the Westboro Baptist Church’s plans to picket outside of Comic-Con today. Sure enough, there was about four or five of them out there, but the real show were the couple dozen counter-protesters. The Bender with the “kill all humans” sign was a particular highlight.

Sadly, most of the signs are tough to read from that pic… I’d like to see more!
Had I been there, I’d have gone with a sign that quotes Homer Simpson: “God – My favorite fictional character.”

I do see that Action Figure Jesus is in the picture – I’ve seen him at previous SDCCs. Blastr has some video of Phelps’ inbreds being escorted away by police, as well. Good stuff!
