The Source, DC’s official blog covering the DC Universe, has been a busy place this week.
Today we’ve already found out about Scott Snyder on Detective Comics and Marc Guggenheim taking the reins of the Justice Society of America (Newsarama interview here), and here’s a few more pieces of news straight from DC Comics: Nicola Scott, probably best known for her run on Secret Six, will be handling art for J.T. Krul’s upcoming run on Teen Titans, starting with October’s issue #88, as evidenced by the art over to the right. Oh yeah, they’re getting a new member, too …
That’s right: the current Robin, Damian Wayne — well familiar to fans of Grant Morrison’s Batman and Robin — is joining the Teen Titans, and it looks like the floating heads of his new teammates are, at best, apprehensive over the news.
Also news: Tony Daniel will be returning to both writing and art duties on Batman as of November. Daniel illustrated much of Morrison’s Batman run, including “Batman R.I.P.,” wrote and drew Batman: Battle for the Cowl and has handled both jobs on Batman as of late, before Morrison returned for a stint with #700.
One more note? Sure! Superman’s next stop on the “Grounded” tour will be Detroit, where he’ll presumably hang out with Kid Rock and Sir Slam A Lot.

And no Blue Beetle, no Aquagirl, no Bombshell, no Static, and Ravager returns to the team. All very interesting.

Nicola Scott is a great choice for TT, that cover has me excited for the book like i havent been since the McKone period. That said, I’m avoiding JT Krul’s DC work after all the Green Arrow badness. Which kills me as a Superboy and Damian-Robin fan.
Tony Daniel’s solo stories leading up to #700 was great. I’m sold on him completely as a writer slash artist.

so if Wonder Woman’s whole past has now been changed(again) how is Wonder Girl even Wonder Girl? She now couldn’t possibly have met Wonder Woman or been to Paradise Island. So shouldn’t she just be gone from the team now?

great news ruined by JT Krul being the writer.

Lets get ride of Aquagirl, Bombshell, Static and bring in Grant Morrison’s DUMB Batman spawn. Dumb!

If only the book weren’t being written by JT Krul. I really enjoyed Nicola’s work on the Secret Six and WW. I’m just sorry that she didn’t get a longer run on WW.
