Justin Bieber is known as a nice singer. I like listening to only about all of his songs. He's additionally a very down to earth individual he signed my picture personally and had a extremely good attitude when he did it.

Unlike the other posters, I don’t have a problem with companies breaking in with leeching off pop culture fad to find new readers, but even I threw up a bit when Bluewater announced Fame: Justin Bieber. It’s not a bad idea, just a poorly executed
one.

There’s so many problems here. For one, only appeal to the most hardcore fan who’d sooner buy recognized magazine for the extra content, excusive images and interviews. Secondly, there’s accessibility: Only Marvel, DC and the occasional Image books have the name value and marketability to appear on Newsstands, drug stores, groceries where most people get their celebrity magazines.

Did anyone else read that description and wonder if the editor has read a magazine since the Beatles were on tour? Beiver’s demographic is girls from eight to their late teens; they couldn’t care less about a band their parents and possibly grandparents rocked out to. I‘m sure they meant the description for retailers, but they could’ve went with a more obvious parallel, The only thing Beiver’s has in common with the Beatles is they’re both teen sensations. Better yet, they could promote it as part of their biography line, if this one does well people will be more inclined to sell others.

This could’ve worked beautiful if Bluewater teamed with a recognized magazine, offering promotional bio-comics each month. From there, they move onto a young adults comic line, and eventually expand out into the larger comic market.

Most cant even consider Bluewater's product as comic books.
Hey DARREN, WHAT HAPPENED TO 10 MUSE, BLACKBEARD'S LEGACY???

When are you going to make COMIC BOOKS again???

Not that they were any good, but if you're gonna advertise this CRAP you keep putting out in PREVIEWS CATALOGS, a comic book collector better feel like its a comic they buy instead of THE "ENQUIERER!!!!!"

I guess if Obama bans Toilet Paper (I can see that happening), then I can rest assured that I can use Bluewater titles to wipe my Ass with.

What a surprise...
Darren Davis has found a new cash cow to latch himself onto, burrow ever-so-slightly under the surface, then commence the blood-sucking cash-grab (his one and only 'skill' as publisher), which, I'm assuming, will finance a 'bio-comic' on another celebutard...
someone high on TMZ's radar but low on actual importance...maybe Kesha, Eminem, or Hamburglar?

Just talking about this tripe lends credence to his claim that there's a market place for tabloid-comics, especially ones that contain spelling errors on a regular basis.
