UPDATE June 9, 2010: Mystery SOLVED. This is in fact a SPEC trailer for a Mortal Kombat live-action movie. According to actress Jeri Ryan, seen in the clip as Sonya Blade, the movie is not yet greenlit, and this was basically a “tryout” by a director. From her twitter:
Okay, so… Mortal Kombat. It’s not a game trailer. Actually was made for the director to sell WB on his vision for a reimagined MK film.I did it as a favor to a friend. No idea yet what WB’s reaction to it was.
She also made a plea to fans that enjoyed it to reach out to Warner Bros and ask them to make it, though she didn’t know how. Your best bet? Comment here that you want this movie to be made, and I’ll send the link over to Warner PR.
Original Story June 8: Is this the trailer to a new Live Action Mortal Kombat Movie?
Is this a live-action trailer to a new, relaunched Mortal Kombat game?
Those are the questions being asked by fans of the franchise today. It’s clearly a professional trailer, with some major star power from across the science fiction/genre worlds, but there’s no real indication as to just what it is. The one thing we can say for absolute certain: it is AWESOME. Peep it below, and tell us what you think this is for. We’ll be at E3 next week to see if we can get some answers from the franchise’s new stewards, Warner Bros.
June 9th, 2010 at 7:27 am
I’m a huge Mortal Kombat fan, I am also a big non-supporter of video game movies, I think they’re garbage. But this, this looks awesome. I would watch this first day it came out.
June 9th, 2010 at 7:30 am
This thing looked amazing!! Me and all my friends got super pumped when we saw it and were flipping out how awesome it would be if this was a movie!! MAKE THIS NOW!!!
June 9th, 2010 at 7:32 am
This so should be made. What an awesome take on the movie with what appears to be a viable way to make the world of the game realistic for a movie.
June 9th, 2010 at 7:35 am
Would love to see it.
June 9th, 2010 at 7:41 am
This was an amazing vision for a movie!!
I definitely want it made, and I have been a MK fan for all of my life!
Thumbs up!
June 9th, 2010 at 7:47 am
Woah… Pretty damn spectacular… Really pumped for this. I’ve been waiting for another MK movie for a long long time
June 9th, 2010 at 7:49 am
This was a great start to whatever they wanted to do with the franchise. Looks Great. I hope they make this.
June 9th, 2010 at 7:51 am
This looks amazing, please Mr. WB, this is what we need. MK, dark gritty, and awesome.
June 9th, 2010 at 7:54 am
It had some moments and I like the real-world explanation for the tournament.
June 9th, 2010 at 7:58 am
Reminds me of the difference between Wanted the movie and Wanted the comic or Keanu’s Constantine and Hellblazer.
Mortal Kombat is a fantasy/mythology story. Doing it as a gritty crime drama doesn’t really work for me.
It would be nice if they could do the actual Big Trouble in Little China-esque plot of the games with an R rating though.
June 9th, 2010 at 8:07 am
WB – you have a huge opportunity here. Make this movie, and you can revitalize not only the film franchise, but the game franchise as well.
Before this, I had little hope for an MK film. Now I’m can’t wait.
MaKe this movie!
June 9th, 2010 at 8:09 am
I think this looks amazing. A great vision to a franchise that is slowly becoming stale (and that hurts to say because I’ve always been a HUGE MK fan). As long as this film comes out as an R-rated flick, I’m there opening night. That being said, please DON’T kill off my favourite character yet again (Johnny Cage). He was awesome in the first flick and then they recasted Lindsey Ashby just to kill off the character in the first couple minutes of the sequel. Please leave him be this time around.
June 9th, 2010 at 8:27 am
this is an awesome take on the Mortal Kombat franchise. MAKE THIS MOVIE!!!
June 9th, 2010 at 8:29 am
I would absolutely love to see this made!
June 9th, 2010 at 8:35 am
Make this movie!! This looks awesome.
June 9th, 2010 at 8:37 am
I think the MK games are ridiculous but I would see this film.
June 9th, 2010 at 8:38 am
This movie must be made! Finaly someone gets it right!
June 9th, 2010 at 8:38 am
I hate to be a party pooper here, but, “meh”. Pretty cool for a short film, but I just don’t think it could stand 90 minutes let alone 120.
June 9th, 2010 at 8:39 am
Wow…seriously, I haven’t been a Mortal Kombat fan since the MKII days, but if this movie is anywhere as awesome as the preview then I’m officially picking it back up! It’s grimmer, gritter, and more badass than the campy 90s movie that tried way to hard to be like the game. I’m all for this movie and I’m ready to give it a shot! Nuff said.
June 9th, 2010 at 8:41 am
I agree with Jeff a bit. While it’s nice to see something different, you need to repect the mythilogy behind it all. Should they make this film as depicted in the trailer, then at the very least they allude to the fanatsy aspect of it all, possibly setting up the sequel in that fashion.
June 9th, 2010 at 8:42 am
This movie looks soooooo awesome! I would totally go to it on opening day.
June 9th, 2010 at 8:44 am
I would pay to see this. Let’s get it made WB!
June 9th, 2010 at 8:45 am
Never thought I would give anything related to Mortal Kombat another thought, but this trailer was such a kick ass shot in the arm. MK meets Se7en? SOLD. Just please keep it more reality based as this trailer implies, keep it evil, vicious, menacing, dark, and gory!
June 9th, 2010 at 8:46 am
Awesome trailer and concept.
Mortal Kombat lost a lot of its energy when they amped the “Otherworld Invasion” aspect.
This re-imagining keeps it simple andgrounded. This could be the “Batman Begins” of the MK universe.
June 9th, 2010 at 9:24 am
Do it, and do it now
June 9th, 2010 at 9:27 am
The energy in this trailer is intense!! While I think the mystical fantasy elements of the MKU are important, I care more about staying true to the essence of the characters, which I think this did well, and it keeps the audience guessing as to how their favorite characters will be reimagined. I would not be against this being made, if there’s any chance of that
June 9th, 2010 at 9:46 am
The trailer was really good as a concept. I think that it would be interesting to see this as a movie. Especially since I’m a fan of the original game and the movie (it’s a terrible movie that I love way too much)
June 9th, 2010 at 9:54 am
yo, this looks cool but, it doesn’t look like mortal kombat. it would be a cool movie though, just, it needs to be more true to it like the original.
June 9th, 2010 at 9:56 am
OH GREAT GOD PLEASE LET THIS HAPPEN!
June 9th, 2010 at 9:57 am
The trailer looked great, but the dialogue was $#it.
June 9th, 2010 at 10:01 am
Truly pathetic. Quit kicking around this dead horse.
June 9th, 2010 at 10:20 am
Facebook for the movie, with link to contact WB like Jeri Ryan asked:
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=127746020580015&ref=ts
June 9th, 2010 at 10:33 am
Saw meets Gotham City. Possibly the best videogame adaptation ever ?
June 9th, 2010 at 10:36 am
Warner Brothers, PLEASE GREENLIGHT THIS PROJECT! It will surely make TONS of money and looks so incredibly legit. I’d definitely pay to see this movie!
June 9th, 2010 at 10:44 am
Wow, this looks amazing! WB should absolutely greenlight this.
June 9th, 2010 at 10:56 am
Looks epic. But mad it’s only a trailer, I’d watch the F out of this movie. Greenlight it already.
June 9th, 2010 at 11:03 am
I really liked the trailer and the ideas are cool, however i’ve always been completely indifferent to Scorpion in the games. I’m aware he’s the creator’s favorite character but to me he’s just blah. Even if I was forced to pick a ninja as the main guy, I think Sub-Zero is far more interesting than Scorpion.
June 9th, 2010 at 11:05 am
Looks amazing, love the idea for the script, would be great to see it made
June 9th, 2010 at 11:07 am
I’m sure we’re not hearing dialogue likely to end up in the movie, nor are the character designs finished – this was an independently financed clip to get industry and fans abuzz – and it’s worked a treat imho. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if none of this clip is actually used in the movie and ends up being a dvd extra – if the film gets made.
Hats off to Kevin Tancharoen though for assembling some proper screen fighters (Johnny Cage is played here by Matt Mullins, who fought Michael Jai White at the end of Blood and Bone, while Baraka is played by Lateef Crowder, aka the Brazilian from Undisputed III) and one of the hottest fight choreographers, Larnell Stoval (Undisputed III). From the looks of things, this is going to be less CGI fireballs and Wire-assisted balletics, and more hard-hitting action. And with Larnel Stoval involved, I’m certain that Jeri Ryan won’t end up looking like Kylie Minogue in Streetfighter!
June 9th, 2010 at 11:15 am
This movie needs to be made so I can see it then buy the Blu-ray.
June 9th, 2010 at 11:25 am
not for nothing, but the volume of positive comments within such a tight timeframe on here reeks of suspicion. reminds me of when Tyrese had all his buddies on here with 4 pages of “i can’t wait!”
really, this looks OK, not great. and i agree with the poster above who said MK is fantasy, not a gritty crime drama. this will not work as a feature, its already cheesy with the fictional science that seems to be struggling to ground a fantasy concept in reality. and come on, why the hell wouldn’t baraka pull out those blades immediately?
but again, i suspect the majority of the comments here are from folks involved in the production, if not all from the same PA
June 9th, 2010 at 11:33 am
I would really prefer an original idea for a movie over yet another adaptation of something.
That said, this was pretty cool. It was like…Mortal Kombat: Noir, lol. More realistic, yet still completely ridiculous. I can usually get behind something being completely reimagined rather than something being half-assed adapted.
Trying to think how they are going to explain Goro…could be fun…
June 9th, 2010 at 11:35 am
I’m really not convinced. It’s pretty, well directed, but the plot and dialogue are incredibly weak. (Why would police hire a murderer to kill other murderers? Maybe I’m a bit optimistic but I like to think police don’t want people killed?)
Also, I don’t quite understand why people feel the need to “reimagine” properties such as this. Mortal Kombat is what it is. Ridiculous fantasy. If you want to make a gritty crime thriller, do it, just don’t call it Mortal Kombat, because that’s not at all what this is.
June 9th, 2010 at 11:38 am
The 12 year old in me loves this trailer. The adult in me loves the 12 year old in m – - I mean, this looks freaking sick!
June 9th, 2010 at 11:40 am
please make this movie!
June 9th, 2010 at 11:42 am
This…looks absolutely amazing. Needs to be fast-tracked, it could definitely break the curse of terrible video game movies. Looks spectacular.
June 9th, 2010 at 11:48 am
You know, that was damn good. This is too much to just a viral or a clip. that damn thig was awesome. Yea I used the word awesome, and I hate the word awesome that and the word extreme. But damn they just cant stop with just this litte DT. gotta be made. Gotta!!
June 9th, 2010 at 11:49 am
Love the new take on the storyline the griddy dark take is exactly what the franchise needed. Please please please make this movie and make it asap MK Fan for life!!!!!!
June 9th, 2010 at 12:04 pm
this is a great way to reimagine a franchise that lost its hook well before the turn of the century.
The trailer looked amazing and this looks like a movie I would certainly go see at a midnight opening.
god why couldnt the movies have been this way in the first place?
June 9th, 2010 at 12:09 pm
While at the same time this makes the “error” of changing the source material, it sounds far more faithful to the material, theme, and story than the Street Fighter movies and coming King of Fighters movie.
This movie looks slick and polished, and they’ve already done a “proper” Mortal Kombat film. It looks wicked cool, like it’s taking cues from the SAW movies or the Twisted Metal videogames.
June 9th, 2010 at 12:12 pm
p.s. How dare somebody say they hope Jeri Ryan doesn’t end up looking like Kylie Minogue in Streetfighter? I support blondes dressing up as Cammy.
June 9th, 2010 at 12:21 pm
I like all the fake comments here. Come on! There’s no way all those people liked this turd. These stunts tend to backfire. What’s more, this is NOT Mortal Kombat. Unless you reinvent the game in the same vein, and it’s a huge hit, why would you stray so far from the source material. The original movie was bad enough. Save your money WB!
June 9th, 2010 at 12:45 pm
Looks like a great film. I just don’t see what it has to do with Mortal Kombat.
June 9th, 2010 at 12:57 pm
Interesting take. I’d like to see further development. A movie? Not so sure. Make it a webseries at the very least to start.
June 9th, 2010 at 12:58 pm
I’m hoping they do turn this into a movie. The previous mortal combat movies looked crappy in comparison to this.
June 9th, 2010 at 1:02 pm
This movie needs to happen ASAP!!!!!!!
June 9th, 2010 at 1:04 pm
MK’s story works in the game, because they don’t have to develop the story through gameplay, so it doesn’t seem as retarded as it is. Keeping the mythology is what screwed the first two films into being the unwatchable dreck they were. THIS keeps the camp and goofiness while still being grounded enough to forgive it for the camp and goofiness.
June 9th, 2010 at 1:06 pm
This is what this movie NEEDS to be. Fantastic idea!! I love that these guys just decided to show what they’re capable of if given the means. GREENLIGHT THIS MOVIE!!! I’ll easily give my 10 bucks opening night!!!
June 9th, 2010 at 1:08 pm
Huh.
June 9th, 2010 at 1:59 pm
Blown away with the trailer, dying to see the movie.
June 9th, 2010 at 2:09 pm
Okay, say what you will about the trailer, but don’t try to claim that the people who are excited are studio plants. This movie has a huge buzz right now, I’ve seen it at more than one site. Hell, even my Facebook status feed was buzzing about this last night.
I for one think this looks cheesy as hell, but a good type of cheesy. I was actually disappointed when the trailer was finished. I think this is a step in the right direction for the MK franchise. I for one was never so attached to the mystical aspect that it’s going to take anything away from me. The idea of a serial killer death match tournament is awesome enough on its own to make me want to see this.
June 9th, 2010 at 2:29 pm
Personally I’m rather ambivalent about Mortal Kombat as a franchise and whether it’s a good idea to make another one. What I’m impressed with is the attitude the director is taking, and the talent he’s looking to place in front of and behind the camera. Whether this gets made or not, Kevin Tancharoen could be a name to look out for in the future.
June 9th, 2010 at 2:31 pm
I would love to see this movie. Seems like a great take on Mortal Kombat. Yes, its a bit cheesy but I think that’s the right idea. I’ve always thought that a movie based on a fighting video game really just needs to be a good martial arts movie and even the best martial arts movies don’t always have the most amazing plots. Just give us style, good action and a competent story and acting.
June 9th, 2010 at 2:50 pm
Hell yes! Make this movie! I’d love to see a new take on Mortal Kombat.
June 9th, 2010 at 3:18 pm
MAKE THIS MOVIE!
June 9th, 2010 at 3:28 pm
I’d see this at least once. At least. Make it happen, WB. This is some great work.
June 9th, 2010 at 4:20 pm
the current holders of the movie IP for mortal kombat will not give it up without a fight… they have had a script for a third mortal kombat movie for the last decade… so well we’ll see what happens…
June 9th, 2010 at 4:25 pm
I want to see this film! Re-cast Jax though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Make this film!
June 9th, 2010 at 4:37 pm
Yes make this movie!!!! Enjoyed the trailer immensely. Already wish it was to be released this summer.
June 9th, 2010 at 5:24 pm
I didn’t think I could ever be interested in an Mortal Kombat movie… but this looks f***in’ amazing! I hope to Goro they make this!
June 9th, 2010 at 5:41 pm
This looks insane. This is an interesting protrayal of the MK universe. I’ll go watch it!!!!!!
And why does Johnny Cage always have to die?
June 9th, 2010 at 5:46 pm
Not studio plants, but plants by the producers in hopes of showing WB that people are demanding to see the finished product. The plants are on Facebook and those other sites as well. Not hard to do. One person can generate all those comments. Fanboys rarely dole out this much pariase on something that obviously stinks of cheese. In fact, we’re more likely to crap on it more than anything else. Just sayin. The last time I saw this much praise, it was for that crappy Tyreese comic…which planetd fake buzz all over the place.
June 9th, 2010 at 5:47 pm
The trailer gave me goosebumps and made me smile. I’ve been supporting this franchise since the beginning and through all its ups and downs. Please turn this into a film.
June 9th, 2010 at 6:27 pm
OK, that trailer gave a nice new flavor (pardon the pun) to the MK storyline. Very Se7en/Saw/gritty crime story feel. I can see this becoming a new take on the franchise. Lots of potential there.
June 9th, 2010 at 6:30 pm
Yeah okay sure. The producer has hired plants to replace all of my friends on Facebook and buzz up this movie.
Look, if you don’t like something, cool, but stop looking for a conspiracy that ain’t there. It’s severely arrogant to think that people who disagree with your opinion are being paid to do so.
June 9th, 2010 at 6:36 pm
I definely would see that, whether it be on the big screen or on DVD.
June 9th, 2010 at 6:57 pm
If the entire movie is as good as the 8 minute trailer, WB could have a monster hit on it’s hands. The idea of having it in a “real world” setting is killer, and those who have no idea what the game is about would still go to see it based on the trailer alone. This is by far one of the best trailers I have seen in a while.
June 9th, 2010 at 7:35 pm
There is no reason they shouldn’t do this movie especially if the movie will be what the spec trailer portrays.
June 9th, 2010 at 7:39 pm
Sweeet!!! I so hope they make this!!
June 9th, 2010 at 7:50 pm
Any studio that doesn’t try to grab this up the way this spec trailer was made are simply idiots. Great way on re-introducting a series for now a day audiences. This needs to be made.
June 9th, 2010 at 8:02 pm
Yes, yes, a million times yes! WB, or whoever, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD IN THE WORLD MAKE THIS MOVIE. And don’t change a single thing about it.
June 9th, 2010 at 8:15 pm
Looks pretty cool. Hope they make this.
June 9th, 2010 at 8:52 pm
This movie needs to be made!!! Michael Jai White…WHOOOKOW!!!
June 9th, 2010 at 8:57 pm
Vertigo needs to pick this up in their line
June 9th, 2010 at 9:33 pm
The fight scene was nicely done, but at no point did it remind me of Mortal Kombat.
This type of reimagining is typically what turns a video game’s well-liked canon into every other $#!tty video game movie ever made..
Then you have the original MK movie that played it close to the game and, what do you know, to this day it’s still widely considered to be one of the greatest martial arts movies of all time. Huh.
You ask me.. if it ain’t broke.. don’t reimagine it.
June 9th, 2010 at 10:23 pm
This movie has a lot of potential. I hope it gets made.
June 9th, 2010 at 10:39 pm
K-MO said “Yeah okay sure. The producer has hired plants to replace all of my friends on Facebook and buzz up this movie. Look, if you don’t like something, cool, but stop looking for a conspiracy that ain’t there. It’s severely arrogant to think that people who disagree with your opinion are being paid to do so.”
So it’s all of your “friends” who are going in droves to the various sites and posting positive comments? I think that constitutes fake buzz. This is Mayhem all over again!
June 9th, 2010 at 11:20 pm
Kevin, dancing is your thing…directing movies, not so much.
June 9th, 2010 at 11:32 pm
Please Warner Brothers Make this!
This film really grabbed my attention and gives a good mix of martial arts and Saw. This is a great combination! many hardcore fans appreciated the original film for what it was, however because it was so set in the mortal kombat reality it didn’t have much mainstream appeal.
I think this film has the opportunity to bring in hardcore and casual action/horror fans. Plus, let’s face it. Remakes and redo’s of existing properties is all the rage atm. Let’s see this one get made!
Love the acting and the style, and would happily sit within my blu-ray collection
June 10th, 2010 at 12:08 am
Ultimate Mortal Kombat? I mean like marvel’s ultimate line. Not the Ultimate Mortal Kombat video game..LOL
June 10th, 2010 at 12:46 am
This is me officially commenting that I kinda need this movie to happen, WB!!
June 10th, 2010 at 1:37 am
I love the fact that Scorpien is the badass of the movie instead of Kang, and please don’t kill Cage(at least no right away) give hime a good part. GREEN LIGHT! Come on WB we know you’ll make the right and smart move, now show us by making this movie happen. GREEN LIGHT!
June 10th, 2010 at 1:44 am
This needs to be made right friggin’ now.
!!!
thank you.
June 10th, 2010 at 2:54 am
That was awesome! Really interesting take on the original story, make it happen WB !!
June 10th, 2010 at 3:28 am
I normally don’t watch fight game movies… but THIS kind of movie I would! AWESOME!
I hope they make it!
June 10th, 2010 at 4:31 am
loved the game, didn’t really like the films, 1st was passable. I love the idea of Scorpion being the “Good” guy and that his job is simple, KILL EVERYONE and everyone is scum. Hell yeah! Even if this wasn’t made for film I’d buy the damn game, give this dude a medal for concept alone.
June 10th, 2010 at 4:46 am
As far as video game movies go, I think even the first 2 films delivered in that they felt like the games. Sure, they sucked, but in a fun way that felt like the video game, unlike the painful Mario Bros movie. An even gorier version starring Spawn and that chick from Voyager? I’m excited.
June 10th, 2010 at 7:07 am
Yes please get this made. It’s a fantastic concept and it dovetails nicely into the superhero cinema boom.
June 10th, 2010 at 9:17 am
MAKE…THIS…MOVIE
June 10th, 2010 at 11:46 am
OK, as a trailer is rather interesting even if it wasn’t related to MK. The production is indeed FLAWLESS(pun intended). I did like it and I would probablly watch it, though it screams “Photocopy of Chris Nolan’s Style of adapting Batman” to me, which eventhough it is well done, it just ticks me the fact the copy that process in a way to make it “cool” rather than being original.
So it may make a good movie, but still MK for me is by it’s concept much more of a fantasy/mythic type of story, so it’s kind of hard to accept this type of “elseworlds” reimaginig. Any way, at least it’s violent, I mean, it’s Mortal Kombat ! Most of it’s fan base (for not saying all) is made of adults today, if any new movie is made out of MK it should be like the name says so, pretty damn mortal!
So if it would be my call, make the damn movie, I don’t know how the heck would these guys make characters like Scorpion,Sub-Zero or Raiden work in such a “realistic” based setting but I’m on for this!
June 10th, 2010 at 1:39 pm
Tight, but has nothing to do with Mortal Kombat. Why not instead of MK characters they use Power Rangers or just trade in Jax and Scorpion with Mr. Belding and Zack Morris.
If your gonna call in Mortal Kombat- at least have it resemble the original concept somehow.
June 10th, 2010 at 7:22 pm
Make this movie. Please…..Even if it’s just the sub zero – scorpion fight. please please please
June 10th, 2010 at 7:44 pm
DAMN! MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!!
June 11th, 2010 at 12:31 am
From what I’ve read of an interview with the director of this, he plans on bringing in the supernatural elements somehow. My guess would be a trip to Outworld changing these characters into something more akin to their video game personas. I’m normally very hesitant about re-imaginings but I think this could be onto something. I think someone said it before, but this could even revitalize the game franchise. Incidentally a new 2d game was just announced within the last few days. But I digress. My final verdict is: MAKE IT. It could be something revolutionary and if it isn’t, I doubt it would be the worst thing you’ve spent your money on.
June 11th, 2010 at 10:11 am
This looks to be a great darker-themed Mortal Kombat movie that fans would enjoy.
June 11th, 2010 at 10:53 am
Be truthful peeps. I love Mortal Kombat and this film looks like it will suck. The kombatants are nothing more than people with birth defects………WTF?!! Whoever is making this piece of crap has no idea what Mortal Kombat even is. It really looks lame.
June 11th, 2010 at 11:23 am
After the 2nd MK movie & the ill fated MK cartoon & TV show I never thought I’d be psyched about anything from the franchise again. Glad to be wrong. SOMEBODY PLEASE MAKE THIS!!!
It’s a totally acceptable new take on an old favorite. The original film is still one of my all time favorites. It kinda has a “Heroes” vibe to it but its just a trailer so things can change.
June 11th, 2010 at 2:26 pm
Well, judging from the trailer this looks like it could be a lot of fun. Make it happen.
June 14th, 2010 at 8:54 am
This is AWESOME MUST BE MADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This is what mortal kombat would be if it was in resal life.It shows the sense of REALISM this could happen,Great take on it.
June 14th, 2010 at 3:21 pm
Wow. Alot better than some of the other crap that gets greenlit. Incredible for what it is. More 300 with the Batman style. Better script and from what I have seen work on story a little (have underlying story that can be continued/or not in future if sucessful). With the right blend of relism, fantasy (i like the fact that its not a real city in real world) and a dark edge (18)you have a real WINNER!!!
June 14th, 2010 at 7:59 pm
That trailer is better than the whole original film. Can I buy a ticket to a possible all new Mortal Kombat movie on reserve now??? Make this into a film now!!!
June 15th, 2010 at 6:29 pm
Yep does look cool.
July 10th, 2010 at 1:17 am
JUST IMAGINE THE FATALITIES IN THIS MOVIE! Ok the main problem with the first two movies were that there was no blood in neither of them… NO BLOOD!!!!!.. how can you possibly make a Mortal Kombat movie and forget to make it GORY as hell?
This trailer is everything ive been looking for… The fight scene was amazing, even though i dont know why they keep deciding to kill off Cage?? I also really like the idea behind reptile on why he looks and is the way he.. well.. is!
Id also like to see a new cyrax.. hes a cool character.
MAKE THIS HAPPN NOW! Oh yeah i dont want to see any (Animality) (BabEality) OR (FRIENDSHIP) in this movie, for those who know what im talking about!
