This looks awesome. I’d have to go with 2099 for the future element (Present is current Spidey, past is Noir) and Zombie for horror. All together would be a nice variation to game play.

Was the 2099 costume really unlockable in Web of Shadows? I played that twice and never saw it…

Oh, David – Spider-Girl did make it into a Marvel game in a way.

She was an unlockable alternate costume for Spider-Woman in Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

I don’t see how they could make a game like this without using Spider-Man 2099!!! That whole world would be awesome for a game.

While I love Spidey I did not read the 1602 Spidey spin-off stuff so I have no opinion on the actual story but I don’t know how that would work/look for a game.

Ultimate Spidey would be too repetitive of Amazing. House of M…I can’t see too much difference there either…It would be interesting to see if they could work out a Zombie Spider-Man, but seriously, what would the goal be?

Truth be told, I am more worried about the developer as Activision has done #$%^ for Spider-Man’s rep in video games. Spider-Man should have had a smash game waaaay before Batman had Arkham Asylum. Because of this, I will rent before buying.

i think Crowley’s got it, 2099s gotta almost be a shoe-in (unless they stick to Alternate Peter Parker’s) and Spider Girl makes the most sense to me.

like ya’ll said, Ultimate would just be too redundant ~ House of M might be another possibility, but i don’t think he really had any characteristic differences.

Unfortunately, while the story should be solid with Slott involved, it’s being made by a super-****ty developer, so my expectations are EXTREMELY low.

I feel like Spider-man 2099 seems like a given, and that’s a good thing. I think Ultimate Spidey is redundant in look and feel as is Movie Spider-man.

If I had my druthers I would like 2099 and Spider-Girl.

Spider-Man Reign. Old-man Spidey dotters around shouting at kids and killing people with his radioactive spider-semen.

Ultimate Spider-Man. Slightly younger-than-Amazing Spider-Man swings round doing exactly the same as the regular Amazing Spider-Man.

Seriously, I’d think that 1602 and 2099 were the most likely suspects. Enjoyed Web of Shadows so I’m looking forward to this.
