Shaun - obviously you have no taste nor ctitical insight as Batman Begins was arguably one of the best superhero scripts ever written and a great action flick. Flash Forward was a great concept and a good show, certainly worth watching. "V" is another story and it is a shame the network tried to promote both at the same time instead of giving Flash Forward the support it needed.

True enough, Robb, though if either show were actually any good I might've gone back. I mean, I'm aware of both shows returning as I am an avid Lost fan and they promoted the show plenty during last week's season premiere. I'm just not interested in going back.

Flashforward had a mildly interesting start but I quickly gave up and as I understand it there's been little reason to go back. V has just been an insult to anyone who had fond memories of the original miniseries, or anyone who can think beyond empty sloganeering for that matter. What a waste of Lost vets like Sony Walger, Dominic Monaghan, and (most of all) Elizabeth Mitchell. Mitchell left Lost for that??

Anyhow, while I doubt Flashforward can regain its footing, losing both Goyer and Guggenheim can only help. Other than the two Nolan Bat-movies, which Goyer's only had a hand in writing, he hasn't done anything else that's good. Seeing his name attached to the Magneto and ill-advised "Supermax" projects tells me those films need to be scrapped. I'm surprised that Guggenheim actually got another TV gig after that turkey called "Eli Stone" got shitcanned.

I know Guggenheim's on the GL movie project too... I can only hope that's better than anything else of his I've seen or read.

"ABC has had a hard time promoting both FlashForward and its other tentpole genre title, V."

Well, maybe putting them both on hiatus until late March has made viewers not want to go near the damn tent?
