I don’t think the closing of Walden is really that bad, because the reason that those stores are closing is that the people who used to shop at those tiny stores are now all going to the larger B&Ns, Borders, Books-a-Million, or online at Amazon. The only real drawback is that there are fewer places in the mall you can send your older kids and not have them bawling for some $60 video game

Casting could have been a lot worse. A lot. But I still have no hope for this movie. I fear it’ll be a low budget Beast Master.

You confused Jason Momoa with Jason O’Mara. Momoa was on Stargate: Atlantis and O’Mara was on the American remake of Life on Mars.

Actually, it’s his wife, Lisa Bonet, who was on Life On Mars (and then only rarely.) Jason might best be recognized from Stargate: Atlantis, as well as Baywatch and North Shore.
