The new trailer really packs a punch. Mickey is looking mighty fierce. Robert is ultracool. Nice to see Garry Shandling in there too. The movie is set six months after the events in the last one after Tony Stark reveals his identity to the world. Looks like some fun, right? Robert said that Marvel gave him a Bentley as a thank you after the first two weeks of proceeds from Iron Man. Wonder how they’ll top that. Iron Man 2 is in theaters on May 7, 2010. Hmm… I’m (cautiously) optimistic about this one. Looks fun, but I’m still not sold on Rourke as Whiplash. I also wonder if they’re not throwing too much at us in this one. No way will this suck like Spidey 3 did, but there’s a movie that was just overloaded with too many characters. I know they set up War Machine in the first movie, but I almost wonder if he shouldn’t have waited for a third film.
And I loves me some Garry Shandling (The Larry Sanders Show is one of the greatest TV series ever – I wish to hell they’d put more seasons on DVD! Hey Now!), but watching him in the trailer just took me right out of the moment. Basically, he’s just playing the same character he always does: Himself.

good idea!they should use a portion of profits to lower Iron Man Comics cost in anticipation of the movie. or you should at least be able to buy Invincible Iron man TPB at a reduced price with each proof of a ticket purchase!
