According to many folks on Twitter, the parade not only brought Spidey back to the fore, but also plugged the company’s Digital Comics Initiative. The talking heads did mention Marvel’s Digital Comics Initiative but Matt Lauer also initially identified Spider-Man as Superman before the parade began. So I would consider it a draw in the long run.
