Hey, Brian! It was great meeting you and enjoyed being on a panel with you. Let’s talk about doing a panel at Windy City Comicon as we get closer to the end of the year.

On the flight back to Chicago, it hit me that what some people call “homophobic” in So Super Duper is actually “swish positive”. Your inversion of the iconography (so to speak!) would profoundly upset people who have an investment in superheroes and comics in general as sites of “defeminization/remasculation”. You’re queering it up for them; speaking personally, I think that’s fabulous.
