You may have read yesterday about the confusion regarding Warren Ellis and Wizard World Toronto Comic Con — where the Planetary writer was a bit surprised at a ToyFare ad that seemed to heavily imply that he would be attending the convention, when in fact he was not sure he would be attending ANY conventions in 2010.
Yet reader Christian A. Dumais took this ball and ran with it, inspiring another post, showing the other event that Warren Ellis will NOT be attending. Although I’m sure he could “l’chaim” with the best of us.
Warren Ellis, of course, is a busy man — and there are plenty of other (fake Photoshopped) events that he will certainly NOT be attending. To disclaim: NOT attending. Because it’s a joke. Some are goofy, others are NSFW. You’ve been warned.
To be fair, the bears have more to fear from Warren than anything else.
I bet if you dressed your dog up like Spider Jerusalem, he would probably show up. It may be lethal to your dog, however.
And finally, the grand-poohbah of Warren-Ellis-not-attendingness, assuredly NSFW, would be Warren going… er, international. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that.)

I’d like to announce that Warren Ellis will not be accepting the Nobel Peace Prize for Pres. Obama, will not be tossing out the first pitch at the World Series, and will not be the chief witness for the prosecution at Roman Polanski trial.
He will, however, be the first man to curse on the Moon in 2021.

I’d like to apologize to every one that received invitations to my graduation ceremony as Warren Ellis will NOT be attending. My sister will. It was a silly mistake that anyone can make and I’m sure everyone forgive me.

Warren won’t be attending Club Nur in an official capacity. However, he did tell me he’ll be a contestant in “bobbing for gerbils” at 10:30 in the Paisley Room. BYO Gerbil.
