Think Sunday Newspaper Comics safe. That's the only way to be sure you won't get in trouble. Safer than a G rating. Library shelves T+ book. Library allows 10-year-old to check it out. Even teachers recognize the discrepancy between what kids joke about on the playground and what they're allowed to read.
