Madness? This… is… MULAN

Animator Jeffrey Thomas has come up with some pretty hard-core Disney “Twisted Princesses.”

While some of the Disney models veer a little needlessly towards zombification (what did the Little Mermaid ever do to you, Jeffrey??), others, like Mulan here, look pretty badass:

Jeez, it’s like Mulan meets 300. Princess Jasmine and Pocahontas, seen at the link above, also look awesome. I doubt Marvel could make a book on these, but one can only hope, right?

    Some of those were a little over the top (Cinderella as a scarecrow? Snow White and the Demon Dwarves?), but there were also some cool ones there.

    Mulan’s a great movie to begin with, and proof that not ALL Disney women are the princess-y type, but that is some kick-ass art. Mulan does look bad-ass, but who expect Mushu (sp?) to look so bad-ass too? Move over, Eddie Murphy!

    I don’t know, they may just have been done for the heck of it, but they look like they would fit right in with that Steampunk Mickey game that’s been rumored.
